I don’t think it was greedy to be honest. It wasn’t a simple lay off for a tap in, there were defenders there. He did what he thought was best and was only denied by a goal line clearance. He probably should square it but I don’t think it was done out of greed at all.

Anyway, thought he was absolutely brilliant again. You can tell he’s still not quite there physically but he’s just a constant threat. Defenders have no clue if he’s going left or right and his deliveries on both feet were on the money. Put in so many dangerous balls on his weaker left side.

The best is yet to come from him I believe which is a scary prospect. Going to be an absolute menace next season.

Gonna stick my neck out and disagree with the pass. I honestly don't think Kuhn made a great angle and was just as likely to have his shot blocked/saved. Easy to say he should have passed after what happened.

Everybody would've been raving about Jota had Bushiri not made a good goal line clearance.

Both Khun and Maeda made really poor moves for the pass

Kuhn was in a good position imo. The issue is I don't know if he would have hit it first time as that's all the time he would have had, if Jota had passed. Not sure if I've seen him hit many first time shots.

Nobody made the right angle for him for the lay off. Thought he was class when he came on and a constant threat. Direct, tricky, quick , dangerous. Still think he's our best winger.

    Small margins.

Goal line clearance away from another moment of genius.

Tbh if he had laid it off to Kuhn, he wpuld probably have started his slalom run and ran out of space.

If he did we’d be dishing out the overplaying to pass it in if the pass is cut out or Kuhn miscontrols or misses a sitter, and today the way he was I’d not bet against the sitter either.

Jota beat the keeper with his attempt, and the defender done an incredible job to get in the position to even anticipate what Jota was doing for one, and for two getting the block in. He put his laces through the ball for that shot, not unusual for the defender in the position Rocky was to not control the direction of the block on the line and it to be deflected in, or scuffed off a foot and through their legs (which is something that happens an incredible amount of times btw) Jota done everything right to lead to a goal, the defender done an incredible job to save it from being one. Afterwards it’s easy to say he should make the pass, but if he did and it also didn’t lead to a goal, we’d be saying he’d done everything to get in the perfect position for him to shoot why did he pass. Sometimes we need to just give credit to the other team doing well, rather than something we done wrong like it’s inconsequential what the other teams done. That chance was one of them for me.

I thought he was excellent. Some time you just have to lift the hat and say well done to the opposition. Hibernian was as good as any side we have played this season at the same time as we did not reach our full potential

I think it was greed but it was some run and he should have scored, was unlucky that it was hit right at the defender.

But although it was greed, I don't think Kuhn would have scored either if he passed it, as Kuhn was kind of blocked from shooting the area he was in, was only at the very last second if he passed it to Kuhn he'd have had a tap in but if he passed it to Kuhn when most people would have Kuhn would probably just have hit it straight off the defender in front of him anyway.

The run was impressive though, as he does still look underweight and light but showed good legs and power to outrun that guy right on him over that amount of distance probably about 50 yards while controlling it and then to cut it, go past the keeper and tap it in, you wouldn't have seen him as having that in him. Exciting for a month from now or even next season.

It is shocking how good his end product is, for someone who is quite flashy and skillful, he barely misses the box with a cross or target with a shot on either foot wether he's took the ball on a run or anything.

That wee bit of doing the unexpected causes panic in opposition sides, even at the top end of Europe.

Still has a way to go physically but so glad he’s back in the hoops.

I am not that bothered he opted to shoot but when he did pick that option he should have scored.

It was an awful effort, the keeper was stranded and all he had to do was pick a side of the defender and tuck it away and he hit it just about right at him.

Maeda made a really stupid run where if he stands still it’s an easy square for a tap in but he follows Bushari to the goal line for some bizarre reason, Kuhn was still on and probably the right option but when he decided to shoot you have to be putting that away.

Aye, the run he went on needed speed to get him where he did. Bellamyesque. Don't remember him doing that sort of run first time round. Definitely quicker.

That’ll be because Ange had them all being run into the ground like a racehorse in training; hamstrings like stretched elastic bands.
Amazing what not fearing injury every time he takes to the pitch will do for a player. Maybe someone should send Ange a vid of the new free-range Jota.
Might end up changing his ways and not having two-thirds of a squad injured at the one time - or not…
