Are you saying we are going to win every single match? We are not. We are always going to drop points at some point.

    that’s just a given.

Naw. I'm saying you said regardless of the disallowed goal we weren't winning as if it was a given which it clearly wasn't.

Today we played utter *, and dropped points regardless, even if stood we were dropping 2 points. But we’ve dropped 3.

its was a terrible performance today no chance we where winning that match.

game is done we move to the next one.

    That disallowed goal!

if we win the league by 16 points when it should have been 17, I’ll be absolutely raging

Yup! If we'd gotten 2 back in 15mins, with 15 more to play, they'd have * the bed and folded like a cheap suit...

You know it’s bad when even the Sportscene team including McCann say this should have been a goal that stood.

At that point we would have had a massive lift and 10 minutes minimum to get a goal to win it. A bang in form Maeda on a hat trick too.

It’s just like the Jota offside at Motherwell a couple of seasons back, they had no idea if that ball was in or out so guessed. The same official has made several errors against us and one for us which he got more heat for than multiple far worse incidents. His position should really be questioned.

I literally spoke to my mate in the pub when watching the game and said it was identical to the Motherwell game where Jota was ruled offside. The officials have no idea but have just guessed in favour of our opponents.

    * embarrassing having a tin pot system in place and one that continuously * us over.

The major thing for me is, the league follows what goes on in the EPL and after a far better version of VAR had the incident that Neville excellently covers in the video that’s being shared the VAR was praised for not intervening as they cannot be certain.

Now in any profession you look for precedents and you follow that. Your not telling me that the refereeing group up here including head of referees hasn’t seen that at the time given how topical it is and then passed on instruction/ training to those at least at Scottish Premiership level to say, we have a version of VAR where we don’t have the right set up to tell if a ball was out or in, therefore for decisions like the one yesterday you have to be 100% sure as in it is beyond reasonable doubt before you intervene.

You have to laugh at the one in the Record last night, if that is the one they are saying definitively proves the ball is out, it is closer than the one Neville uses to demonstrate in the video that if you had the goal line overhead view the ball is likely still in.

So the question I have isn’t so much is the ball out or in, it is why is Muir making a call on that and not saying back to McLean I can’t be sure because of the angle?

In addition, one for Collum to answer what is the protocol for making such a decision given the limitation of the technology? It can’t be left to the VAR officials discretion, given the publicity of a similar incident in a high profile league like the EPL, where a precedent was set that VAR cannot be sure with the available technology.

Therefore, if that is the guidance given to SFA VAR officials why has Alan Muir went against that guidance and told McLean to overturn and claimed it as factual when he cannot be sure given the available technology?

Lastly if Muir has done this he has already been demoted for poor performance this season so what happens now given he is repeatedly making mistakes and failing to perform as a lead VAR operator for Scottish Premiership matches?

Just saw a wee video of the Hibs fans signing Sunshine of Leith and it definitely gets you. A nice uplifting wee song (just like Walk On) with not a hint of hate or sectarian * - unlike the song sheets from the huns and the diets who's repertoire contains nothing but hate and sectarianism

When was the last we were down by 2 and came back and won? Feels like if we go 2 down then that’s the game over even though we have a superior squad in the majority of games we play. Yesterday we had taken some class players of the bench and had more than enough time to score 3 but we hardly really got going.

You're right Art, this was a demonstration by Sky Sports, Gary Neville was presenting it and they showed it from this angle and directly above to show the ball was still 'in'.

A midges' * width, but in.
