Well, I think Yang will get a chance next few games, which may give us an idea if we need one or two in Jan..

Just don't want to write him off, he's shown some quality lately.

Needs to seize his chance, next few games.. but aye like I said, for me we probably need two wingers.

Khun and Forrest injured in that game. Strange that considering its the huns that are moaning about the ref

Listen mate, we all hate them but that’s something that can happen in any game, and may not have been the result of a tackle during that game.

Khuns certainly was. Not sure what happened to Forrest though. I know these things can happen in any game but it's always the case when we play against the likes of the huns, Ayrshire huns and diet huns for some reason and it's also noticeable that we get little or no protection from the refs in those games. Maybe I'm just getting auld and more bitter or, even worse, paranoid :88:

It’s a shame he’s missing the remainder of the CL league phase matches.
Back in time for the playoffs

How is James Forrest is he close to a return?

He shouldn't be too far away from getting out onto the pitches so yeah, but he's obviously not good for the weekend.

Last I heard (was still January at the time) was that he was expected back 'next month' - meaning February. Haven't heard of anything to the contrary since then. So I presume he will be back sometime before the International break.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed James Forrest was back on the training pitch for the first time on Thursday after being sidelined through injury.

The Celtic winger has been out of action since the Scottish League Cup victory over Rangers in December.

Forrest played the match to a conclusion but was then seen sporting a protective cast for a foot issue and ruled out for an initial six weeks.

Rodgers has now revealed Forrest has been back out on the turf at Lennoxtown, albeit still a good few weeks away from a playing return.

"He had his first day out on the pitch yesterday," said Rodgers. "[He's] starting to move and jog. Hopefully, in the coming weeks, he'll be coming back.

I said that to him [he came alive at this time last season]. I said that to him, 'You know in February or March you came and saved the day.

"He's a brilliant player and made a great contribution at the beginning of the season for us as well.

"He'll be a great addition when he comes back.

"He's nowhere near that [a possible return this week]. He is just planting his foot out on the grass yesterday for the first time.

"It's going to be still a few weeks yet

Another update from Brendan today hopefully not long until James returns

James is back out on the pitch now the last three or four days. So he's working away, but he's obviously not near to coming back as of yet.
