Sorry but Leipzig and Bayern away were both 10/10. We were absolutely scintillating again Leipzig and we were flawless last night

I'm very pleased with how we played Bayern. But if I was going to be critical, I'd argue that we could have had a much better fixture if we'd been consistent throughout the group stages. We had a really incredible draw in that even most of the good teams we drew massively underperformed in Europe this season. We've enjoyed some progress for certain and that ought to be commended, but I feel like our progress could have been even greater if we didn't dip in form.

The game against Dinamo in hindsight would've given us a kinder draw if we had got 3pts there and we were frustratingly passive but ultimately it'd tough luck when you get Real or Bayern in a playoff considering most would've had them as dead certs for top 8.

Think it'll be a theme for this format that there'll be the odd heavyweight(s) unexpectedly low in the table. Always an element of luck to cup football in that sense.

A solid 8/10. If we started the way we ended, we would probably be in the last 16 and we would fear no-one in that tie. I could only dream of being in this state a couple of yeaars ago. If we keep this squad together we will qualify with ease for the group stages next season. Imagine keeping this team and adding Tierney, a top class striker and a few other additions. Best team since MON.

I'm just really pleased we have matured and developed into a decent European side.

We now know what we are capable of and the margins are narrowing.

There was a time when I wondered if we would be able to compete at this level. The new format is * class by the way...

Overall 7/10. Good for a team that needs strengthening.

All these extra games against different teams definitely helped improve our players. A bit light on the backup front as you can see with how little subs he used. Tierney another 2 top quality signings and we'll be fully ready. Hopefully shluup aswel. We'll breeze these qaulifiers.

Very good overall and shows definite progress.

Pros: think when our first 11 click like last night we've shown more than once that we can hold own own against really good teams. I can see a set up and understand what we're trying to do. We are braver on the ball and we were a little bit of luck away from a massive shock last night. Besides dortmund away, every European game has been between decent and excellent.

Cons: our bench is too weak at this level. We had few options last night and were only a couple of injuries away from being severely weakened and probably unable to hold our own. And not really a con, but we need to be accept that the draw we had was almost as soft as possible. To compete against even an average champions league group draw we will need to strengthen to match what we did this season. But I'm confident we can do that.

All in all very positive. First time in years I think we can hold our head up high in Europe and as long as the board back the manager in the summer there's no reason why we can't continue to progress.

    It's a very positive campaign. Solid 8/10

First - we won several games and scored loads of goals. That's great for the supporters who paid a fortune to watch these games. We were very competitive which we hadn't been in past seasons. Credit to everyone at the club for progressing us.

Second - for me - we saw a template of how we can play to get points and results against tough opposition. From the Dortmund game through Atalanta, Villa and now Bayern it's indisputable that taking a more pragmatic approach for large portions of the game is what we should do. It's respectful of the opposition and it works.

Third - we can all clearly see where we need to strengthen and I believe there is a willingness at the club to do that, with the potential rewards under this new format very plain to see. Tierney is already coming in, money will be spent in the summer adding depth. There's a question mark over the midfield in terms of a defensive midfielder which I'm worried about, but aside from that I think we come into next season stronger.

The caveat is the playoff round next season. A red card, or a few summer injuries and a bad draw can cost us everything. If we get through that I think this squad can have another very special season next season.

This was a season of real progress. The format helped allowing us to develop against a variety of different teams not only tactically and physically but mentally. We had to ride the wave in a lot of games and showed real bravery. The way we bounced back in this campaign after that embarrassing defeat at Dortmund was impressive and said everything you need to know about the strength of this team. BR has showed he is a tactically astute manager, up there with the best in Europe and he is building a team that can compete at the highest level without fear.
We got a favourable draw but you can only beat what’s in front of you and our performances over the piece showed that we belonged there. We weren’t the whipping boys. Some results could have been better against YB and Zagreb but we seemed to show the best of ourselves against the best teams (outwith BD) and that was impressive to see.

If we want to challenge in CL again next season we need to retain the majority of our players, keep BR and replace quality with quality. The board need to get the finger out there’s absolutely no excuses here. BR, his coaching team and the players have done their job restoring credibility, it’s about time we spend some money bringing in quality and not leave things to the last minute. Hopefully a lesson not to sell your best striker in January. I don’t care what Kyogo wanted, the player was under contract simple as.

Proud shown we can shake up the tactics to get the results we need just needed a 7-1 pumping to change managers way of thinking

We broke our turnover last year and with record cl money and a treble plus extra home games that turnover will be substantial to last season

Use the money and kick on we can sell one player for more transfer funds and not be weakened …. That player is Hatate unfortunately for him

We haven't secured a treble this season?

Hatate probably wants a move so it wouldn't be unfortunate for him..

If he wants to stay I'd be keeping him tho he's is a class act, be careful what you wish for.

It would be an 8/10 overall.

Great performances against Slovan Bratislava, Atalanta, Leipzig and Bayern both legs.

Good performances against Young Boys and Villa with a depleted side.

Reasonable against Brugge and Zagreb, I think those two are the ones where I think we could have been better.

Dortmund was a riot but the fact we learned from that and kicked on was great, as in the past we could have crumbled.

The only thing missing was getting that win against a traditional big boy and last night was very close. Home form has been excellent and we have been hard to beat Dortmund aside away from home.

We contributed 17 coefficient points from our performance which is a significant contribution. It is the downside in previous years to being in the CL is that opposition is a far higher level and picking up coefficient points is very difficult compared to EL or ECL where you can rack up points against poorer sides or teams fielding second strings.

Not to forget this CL campaign when you take ticket sales in to account will have been worth over £50m to the club this season.

    Held our own,

    Dortmund was a sore one.
    Zagreb a frustrating one.

Rest of it we grew as a team.

Officals in the 2 games against bayern dubious for me.

I'm really proud of the club as a whole. I see alot of progress and I reckon there's some crucial players in the group that add world class experience. The attitude of the group is top class and I really believe that they can be realistically confident about the future and how they can best represent Celtic.
We have a bright future and I think others want to see us do well also. A massive opportunity here now and we need to make sure we are best prepared for the moments. We deserve to be competing in Europe and should have faith that we can match that level in the long run, just need to be wise with our money

    It was excellent overall..

    Battered Bratislava

Brugge have shown what a quality side they are, we definitely underestimated them..

    Zagreb was flat and unadventurous.

    Dortmund was embarrassing.

Atalanta was an incredible defensive display where we showed excellent character after Dortmund.

    Leipzig was incredible.

YB we got the job done.

Villa was spirited but there was a big difference in their physicality to ours. They were much stronger and faster.. as Schlupp has demonstrated, we need players with strength as well as skill in this tournament if we're to be competitive..

First leg v Munich cost us 2 poor goals to lose.. last night was probably our best CL away performance, so proud of them. We just lacked that squad depth.

Back BR now as we can build from this campaign.

Exciting times ahead, playing and competing in the Worlds Elite competition is and should remain our benchmark.

Agree, low point was the smashing by Dortmund, that could have been a * of a lot better.

Absolutely no disgrace in getting knocked out to Munich. They could easily go on and win it.

    Overall 7/10 for me.

8/10 - Overall, really strong progress - especially our structure, discipline and calmness.
Our quality players really shone through at times also.
Bratislava, Leipzig and Bayern most obvious positives.
Defensively v Atalanta also, when performing poorly elsewhere the defence was strong - almost unheard of since MON era.
Brugge were excellent, as were Dortmund and Villa to be fair.

    Opportunities to improve....
Zagreb and Young Boys were most obvious poor performances - regardless of result.
In both matches the positivity and mentality that was the issue, not the ability.
Zagreb we essentially shat it and played uber safe. Young Boys we were nervous wrecks.
We were on OG from going out and it being a disaster.

If we can make sure the positivity and bravery outweighs the negativity and apprehension, we can be very good indeed.
Last night should go a long, long way towards that.

With a couple of strong characters and better players, plus an extension for the manager and ambition from the board we can progress significantly - without bursting the bank
Overall, really happy and looking forward to strengthening team and further European progress.
    Brugge should be the model.
