Absolutely collosal imo tonight. In every part of midfield as an attribute. That was an old school midfielder box to box style masterclass.

He's taken it up another level, and one of the first names on the team sheet now for me. His physicality has improved too, as he has got to grips with a new set of footballing circumstances at only 21 too. He certainly has a lot of self belief and confidence in himself, and nothing seems to dent it.

He's been great for a while after a bit of a quiet spell when he was drifting out of games at times. Showing why he's getting call ups to the Belgian team.

    Utter class.

He shouldn't be shy to add a bit of swagger to his game. Think it would help make him even better..

Stepped up last night. If he adds a bit of upper body muscle I think he'll be even better.

Was brilliant until the last 20 mins or so when the legs started to go.

Few moments last night where he received the ball under pressure and i was expecting him to play the percentages and keep the possession by playing back to Cal/ Hatate or CCV. Nope - he took the ball on the half turn, faced his man and got the ball forward. He's really starting to settle into our side now.

Don't think he ever looked like he was a bad footballer, just wasn't assertive enough for a few games in the start of the season there.

He's growing all the time and now looks our best midfielder by a mile. His composure and ball control in tight areas is exquisite.

I think that period where he dipped in form was him getting used to the relentless schedule, while also traveling for the international breaks. Rodgers kept pushing him for as long as possible to get him up to speed.

He’s come into his own now, going to run the league next year.

Energy to burn and is improving by the game. Thought last night was possibly his best match for us. Always looking for the ball, good decision making and made forward runs beyond the striker.

His delivery's are another level. The bend he gets on them is unreal. That cross to big diazen could get his header, that deserved a goal by its self.

I thought he was outstanding. His delivery is absolutely superb and very consistent.

Ironically, I think the one he fluffed the cross towards the end of the game was our 'big moment' to win the tie (tongue in cheek, slightly), but obviously you can't really blame him for that. He's entitled to fluff one extremely difficult cross in a season.

Crossing and passing is immense. Great player. Has taken a while to get to where he's at, but he has been quietly improving to the point he doesn't look out of place against more technical, bigger teams.
