Pretty much as the title says. What are your thoughts on the whole campaign? Any particular stand out moments?

Pleased with this seasons efforts. Team showed a different side to their defensive game against Atalanta and Bayern (never seen the Zagreb game) instead of trying to recklessly attack better teams

I'd say Zagreb was the most frustrating game in terms of expectations vs the result we got.

Think we've came on leaps and bounds.

The bounceback from the BVB game is the big thing for me. In days gone by we would not have recovered from that as well as we did and it easily looks like a weird anomaly now, for both us and Dortmund ironically.

Played very well against Leipzig, Atalanta and foe the vast majority of the Villa game. Brugge have shown that they aren't mugs so that home draw isn't that bad looking back as we weren't ourselves. Zagreb is an annoying one. As lennon kept saying after the game tonight, hindsight is a wonderful thing..but if we had gone for that a bit more we would have gotten a better draw and potentially even finished top 8. Who knows.

There's a lot to work on still but this is more than I expected. Given how bad we have been in Europe at times in recent years it really has been an uplifting campaign overall. Rodgers has shown himself to be pragmatic and has definitely matured as a manager and personality.

I now fancy us to defend and not get completely spanked wverytime we go away from home which I never thought I'd ever say again. Yet at the same time we aren't purely parking the bus, we are playing some good football in there against top sides. To break the press against the likes of Bayern and Villa with ease at times and create genuine first class chances and score goals feels great. Even when we were successful under Strachan and lennon in Europe we didn't play this well, both on and off the ball.

I remember in those days the chat was always that we didn't create enough in Europe and you never really felt we could score enough consistently. That's not true now.

For this to continue next year we need to maintain the nucleus of this squad, ideally only lose 2 players max if we can. Hatate probably one.

There's gonna be a lot of interest in players so the concern is that if we lose 3 or 4 you need to replace them BEFORE we even think of adding the 3 or 4 bits of quality I thjnk is missing here. Need to qualify first as well, ofcourse. Even if we drop into the Europa in this sort of form you'd fancy us to go deep into that. Seriously. The concern next year if we get into the UCL is we probably won't get as kind a draw but you never know.

Very proud. And gutted we haven't done it. To be sitting here annoyed we didn't knock Bayern out the UCL on their own patch pretty much says it all. Never thought we stood a chance.

Slovan Bratislava 9/10 - Not the best team but we couldn't have done much more, leathered them
Dortmund 1/10 - Couldn't have gone any worse or been any easier for them
Atalanta 8/10 - A very dangerous team who were flying and I think won something like 17 out of 17 either side of playing us, did batter us but we defended for our lives and escaped with a draw
Leipzig 9/10 - A good team who we rolled over and dominated with pure football
Club Brugge 6/10 - A good team who played very well against us, we competed well with them and could have gone either way although they were the better team
Dinamo Zagreb 6/10 - They looked terrible against us and we looked comfortable the whole game just never went to win
Young Boys 7/10 - Decent, had to win and did and were quite comfortable
Aston Villa 7/10 - Went into it a bit handicapped and could have got a draw, had no bench but played ok
Bayern home 7/10 - We were ok and unlucky to concede goals I thought but we could also have done more damage I think
Bayern away 9/10 - Played really well and should have won

If you had told me at the start of the season we would make it through to the playoffs and lose narrowly over 2 legs to Bayern Munich I would have bitten your hand off for it …

For me the blueprint is there now for how we approach games like that in Europe, if we back Brendan by strengthening the squad in the summer, I think we could make it a step further next season.

Tierney coming in the summer is an excellent start, and I think Celtic as a club definitely carries a bit more temptation to any really promising players after this campaign.

The style also we've shown away to Atalanta and tonight. And in the 1st leg.

Exactly what most fans have been crying out for, for some time. You don't need to just park the bus.

It's the only way we can be competitive in certain games at this level.

I think it gives us a very clear profile of player that we need to progress … ie- attacking players needing to be quick on the counter and our defenders and midfielders having a bit of grit and physicality as well as ball playing attributes.

Schlupp is the perfect example of the kind of physicality we need in the full back role, he managed to match Olise very well over the 90 mins. Greg bounced off him a lot at CP and we suffered for it.

    Best campaign since 12/13.

Some really great, coming-of-age performances. Rodgers, to his credit, got a lot right this time. There's still a lot of room for improvement though. The obligatory capitulation vs Dortmund was a real blight, Zagreb away and YB at home should have been comfortable wins. Brugge result in hindsight I don't have any gripes with. Also think there were a few moments, especially in the last few games, where we could have taken more advantage but didn't.

Overall though a satisfying campaign. Loved the new format. Loved the exposure. Loved the different opponents. Loved seeing us play our game in different stadiums and atmospheres.

Desperately need to kick on now though. 4 quality signings will see us in a much better position next year. The squad is still thin on top quality and you can see that with the type of subs we've had to bring on. We've got a good core of players with experience now, but we have to keep building on this.

There's so much * money to spend - so spend it.

Great performances. Could have had more points. Proved Dortmund was a fluke.

Only fear is losing Khun but more so Maeda. Leaving us not building on us but been ill prepare for the playoffs.

The management have shown admirable flexibility and adaptability in making us a tighter, more compact and disciplined defensive team, when the occasion demanded, like with Atalanta and Bayern for instances, we would never have got that willingness to bend from Ange, sad to say. Just need one or two more midfielders with gritty determination and physicality like Schlupp I feel, to be able to make more great strides and inroads in the Champions League next year.

Outstanding.. we have shown we can compete at this level and for me that's the main thing. Dortmund was the only game we didn't play well in. Villa was a nothing game but was probably good because it's shows what squad is required fir this competition.

Overall I'm absolutely delighted with the progress but again keeping this squad and building on it will be a tough ask..

Overall a pretty excellent campaign. Could’ve been a touch better if we managed to beat Zagreb away but other than that can’t have many complaints. That was also a tough away tie in Eastern Europe which is never easy and it was against a side who managed to get 11 points themselves.

Unlucky to draw Bayern and ran them just about as close as possible without winning.

Overall, an easy 8/10 campaign. Qualify next season and let’s get the monkey off our back and win a knockout tie. With natural progression and backing of the board I would fully expect us to make the playoff round at least next season again.

Exactly this yeah. We got the balance absolutely spot on today. At times we had 11 men behind the ball. At times we also had CCV closing down in a high press in our attacking third. Picked our moments brilliantly.

Despite very nearly taking the mighty Bayern to extra time we still went out at first knock-out stage, time for our board to get behind Rodgers as I doubt we'll get a better manager if he leaves through lack of support from our board, The Kyogo situation clearly showed our board must do better, we had a chance in January to replace Kyogo and bed in a new striker before CL qualifying in August

Thought it was a much improved European campaign, but there’s still room to improve. Board needs to back Rodgers in the summer.

The serious * aside, was so proud of the fight in our team tonight, thought we deserved better than a stoppage time heartbreaker. Was so proud I felt emotional after the final whistle.
