From comments CCV made recently I think its still the toe injury from early in the season.

Is it just me or does he seem to get injured before big games quite a lot?

Cameron Carter-Vickers has also overcome an injury niggle and will be available for selection at Fir Park after sitting out against Aston Villa.
"He'll be back available," confirmed Rodgers

Good news. I still have my doubts though whether he is truly 100% recovered but we will see.

In fairness, BR did also say before the AV match that CCV would be fine for the weekend.

It's a shame him being out for 2 of our biggest games of the season against Dortmund and Villa. Has been getting these unwanted knocks. Hope it's not going to be an issue long term as we desperately need him in there.

Feels like he is injured for half our CL campaign every year (even with another two games added. Ironically, probably while we’ll keep him.

Was away for a night with the wife's family when the Bayern game was on. Father in law got the game on his phone so we were able to watch it. CCV appeared on the screen and my father in law said and I quote, "I don't rate thar big donkey there". I said what do you mean, at the CL level or something? He replied no, "just in general".

Now I am well aware his football knowledge is laughable at the best of times but it took all my energy to ignore this comment. In all my years following Celtic I have never heard such absolute *. Anyways there you go needed to get that off my chest. There is always one.

Really felt for him at the death, he was so unlucky, nothing else he could have done, ball dropped to him in a very dangerous area and he was just trying to scoop it to safety, nothing else he could have done.

Tbh in the replay their is the moment where he’s ball watched if he didn’t he would have got to the ball first ….. it’s Bayern Munich away though in the dying seconds fatigue plays a part of anyones to blame it’s attacking players not putting chances away when they fell it’s a hard one to take because we came so close
