Lots of humble pie from a couple of posters

I'll save the quotes for the end of the season though

Interesting the commentators mentioning his movement in the first half, couldn't see it on the stream but sounds like the 'he doesn't do much' comments are wide of the mark.

Honestly think he'll be a great player for us, said it before but his finishing is so similar to big John Hartson. Another one of those today.

    Stunner from the big yin.

He’s really back at his best. I do have a worry about his mental strength when he’s got competition. But his confidence will be sky high.

The big guy worked his socks off today, and was constantly linking well dropping deep, and then spinning off looking for balls into space behind

Delighted he got the goal his efforts deserved, and a superb strike it was as well.

John's finishing was lethal at times. But when you picture him now, Big John...I don't think he'd fit into our 4-3-3 these days. Very limited mobility.....i.e he couldnae * run. But he could hit a baw!!! Whooooooooooomf

Wouldn't be the first to feel unwanted and respond when a manager publicly backed them... There's still questions to be answered, but he's doing all that he can and you've gotta respect that!

Idah is showing us what we all missed, when Kyogo was getting all they starts. Makes you wonder.

    Today, I think.

I'm still waiting to see real dominant performance like the Killie game of last season. But that aside, I think today in my mind is when I feel confident that he's consistently hitting decent form here and not shrinking from responsibilities or letting pressure get to him.
