Not really, Strikers are usually on the front post. They're the ones who are the biggest liability when it comes to marking

Drogba was amazingly effective at the front post for Chelsea.

Your right in the attacking the near post balls coming in. l was more thinking of the old days when the wee guy got stuck on the post to keep him out the way

 

I have an unhealthy dislike of this lad. Genuinely might be the most dislike I've felt for a Celtic player.

I don't say it lightly either but he is so very bad.

It would be better for everyone including him, if he moves on.

 

I personally hope he signs a new deal and that Messi requests the last game of his career be Greg Taylors testimonial.

Fully agree. He’s also just a dislikable guy. Like we’ve probably all felt for him over the years because he’s the weak link and shown up as such, and he’s our player so we want him to do well.

But when you wheek aff the green glasses, you notice more and more the arms up in the air when someone doesn’t pass to him; the spitting the dummy in embarrassment when someone does him on the outside, looking at others like it’s their fault, etc.

Then there’s the general obnoxiousness of stubbornly drifting inside all. the. time. - it’s like he takes pride in being deliberately what we don’t need at LB.
I’m not talking about the occasional useful underlap, like Johnston. Johnston doesn’t completely neglect his FB duties and try to kid us all on he’s been picked at CM.

Lad’s a dobber and I’ll be glad to see the back of him.
