Still can't understand how Kane got left completely unmarked at that goal. First goal gets better everytime you see it, absolutely unreal strike.

Fine margins * us really. The Idah offside, the ref giving them a corner that wasn't and a goal kick that should have been our corner. In games of this magnitude all it takes is one of these decision going your way to swing it. Last night we got none of them. As usual in Europe.

I was a bit confused about the corners leading up to their 2nd goal, cuz my stream was playing up.
They took a corner, KS caught it. Trusty went down injured, but then he awarded the corner to be retaken, for some reason?!
I remember thinking “bet the * will score from this now”, then my stream died.
When it came back on they were celebrating the goal!

Was there any legitimate reason explained for retaking the corner?!

I felt we could have beat them if we went about the game differently from the start, they seemed to have an off night and were probably lucky they scored a goal. They didn't trouble us very much and their best spell was probably like 20 minutes in the first half where they constantly had the ball but I don't think they even hit a shot during it.

I'd have preferred Maeda through the middle and more long balls over the top from the start.

Last night we had the most possession a team has had against Bayern this season which is probably the wrong way to play them.

I don't understand how just because you kicked the ball first it's fine to plant your studded foot onto someone else's. The fact that one of the var staff must have thought it could have been a pen too. The Scottish ex refs today, are saying it should have been given too.

That ref was 100% at it last night. Reluctant to even give us corners ffs. If that had happened in the other box it would have been a penalty.

Son is just about to press button on stubhub tickets for next Tuesday. Have we sold out our allocation for next Tuesday? Still rather buy tickets for away end off a celtic fan, than buy a ticket in the bayern end.

The annoying thing is we didn't actually make them work for their goals...

After what you said I thought about it. Ive just now created an account and managed to buy two home end tickets, in the next section to our allocation. Winner. In my name, with my austrian address details. Son now pressing the button to fly in from NY for the game as well.

C uz all in Mariaplatz before the game.

Don't they say that every away European game though then nothing ever happens.

They always say you need ID and ID needs to match the ticket etc but I cant remember it ever once being done.

Aye i've been to Lazio, Milan, Munich before, Ajax, Man City, Zagreb, PSG, Barcelona and maybe another couple and I always remember it being said and not once did anyone ever look at any tickets or did I need to show ID.

Bayerns stadium actually i'd say is probably one of the most open about, you don't even need to go in the away end, once you are in you could go anywhere you wanted inside the stadium only I remember you did need to show your ticket to actually access the seats but you can watch the game even from the opposite side of the stadium just standing inside.

Watched it back in slow mo on BBC and Johnston was awful for it. He was clearly the one tasked with watching Kane and he is literally marking thin air.

CCV has a go at him.

Aye that's how I seen it, AJ finds himself at teh front of the 6yard box while Kane is at the back and he looks lost, shame cos for the massive height difference he done a great job on Kane all night

See the really annoying thing is we probably played better last night against them than Feyenoord did, yet the reason we are playing Bayern is because they got done in that game and then subsequently ended up missing out on top 8.

Feyenoord got a fairly soft penalty which we were denied, they got an early goal which wasn’t ruled out for a player being in the line of sight of the keeper and the Bayern forwards didn’t have a special finish in them like Olise did last night. Yeah they got a cheap second which Feyenoord didn’t give up but Bayern had far more chances in that game than they did against us last night but they had an off night in front of goal.

I'm not sure who that was mate, I was wondering.

I quite like watching the pundits on there if something is on rather than BT, more than others anyway. Ray Houghton, Richie Sadlier, Didi Hamann etc
