Atmosphere in Europe and especially against Rangers has fallen off a cliff. No away fans has obviously ruined the derby Atmosphere but can’t understand why euro games it’s got so poor.

Slovan and Leipzig were decent but we have to be infront.

Average age of the crowd older than it used to be? Just anecdotal, but I know a plenty of people who've had their seats since the new stadium was built and earlier, can't really imagine any of them having the energy to be singing and bouncing for 90 minutes the same way they would have 30 years ago.

Think we have too many songs as well now. I can't keep up with them all. Best spell for me atmosphere wise was Lenny's first spell in charge. JCGE, come on you bhoys in green, Wanyama song, Sammy chant.

It's all became a bit stale as well, think due to domestic success and then going into games where we can hardly get a touch of the ball.

The demographic of the crowds as well. Less working age men, half cut more than likely, and more families.

Think it was good. Bayern were controlling the ball most of the game. Pushed the team on well in my opinion.

I think there is a sociocultural (and economical) aspect that could be explored re the atmosphere, the expectations of different people and the passage of time which would eventually bring some sort of answer for people searching for an explanation for CP's atmosphere or lack of at different games.

If I was still in my uni days and could be academically-arsed I would try and tackle it. Be fascinating to get insights from a cross-section of the support and their thoughts/views.

We're never gonna have San Lorenzo-esque carnival scenes, but we're also far from dictionary corner at the Etihad. It's the why and how that intrigues me.

Ticket prices surely have priced out a lot of young adults. A grand or so for a season book plus European and domestic cup tickets is a big ask for working class guys in their late teens and 20s.

That on top of a lack of tickets in the first place due to older long term season ticket holders obviously not wanting to give up their seats probably explains it.

When the teams come out it's always electric and can barely hear yourself think.

Then the anthem goes off everyone gives that roar and its largely back to the GB banging away and singing. It's definitely not as good as it once was. Wasn't at the game myself but having gone regularly 10 years or so back I do think there was less reliance on the GB and singing sections.

Last 20 mins as you'd expect it picked up again but even when Bayern are passing it about would still be good to hear a bit more.

If UEFA try and punish Celtic over that banner then Celtic should demand that Russian football teams are allowed back into UEFA competitions since Russians are murdering Ukrainians just as Israel are murdering Palestinians

Well done to the GB for that banner last night, feel proud to be a Celtic supporter on the right side of history, full admiration for all those who show support for the Palestinians.

There are fines worth taking and there are fines that aren't.

I'm fine with last night's display. Nothing wrong in it.
