Of course it was a penalty. A touch of the ball doesn’t exempt you from rash and dangerous play.

 

Then I agree with him. They was never gonna allow us to beat a golden goose.

Same for me tonight not entertaining anyone complaining about us tonight. Kinda folk who get fuming when we aren’t 2 up every week in the League after 10 minutes.

Playing against one of the best in the world and hardly gave them a proper chance bar Kanes goal the whole 90. Had them on the ropes last 15 too.

We are a brilliant team for where we are financially etc in Europe (CL not EL remember) Fighting well above our weight in this competition.

Honestly think we would win the EL this season had we been in it. Had we got some of the others left in this CL i think we go through.

We are the only team in Scotland thats highly regarded in Europe at the moment.

 

We were up against one of the quality teams in the competition tonight and it clearly showed however, we hung on in there and could have snatched a draw at the end. We know we lack physicality in the midfield especially a strong athletic box to box type player like Bayern had tonight and this has been a problem in Europe for a while now. Anyway, we kept the score respectable which is a positive and I honestly believe that this team can go far if they get the right players in and we can make an even bigger impact in Europe next season.

 

Weve have ourselves a chance, a slim chance but a chance nonetheless

 

Man United were shocking last year. Look at Bayern's draw - granted the Arsenal result was a good one but you'd expect them to beat everyone else they came up against. But last year doesn't really matter anyway.

I guess we'll see, personally I don't see it. Think they're out as soon as they meet a half decent team. Someone like Atalanta would sweep them aside imo.

 

Overall a bit unlucky tonight.

If Idah had shimmied out of the road of that Kuhn shot, and if someone had been marking Kane for their second, it would have been a different story, fine margins again. Looked like a stonewall penalty denied to us as well.

Proud of the bhoys, they gave it their best shot. The tie is still alive though.

 

No complaints with the disallowed goal however the penalty we don’t get is 100% given at the other end. Getting a nick on the ball doesn’t mean you can just stamp on someone’s foot immediately after. You’re never getting a decision like that against one of the elite though, sadly.

 

I think the GB were awesome tonight! Every other * has forgotten about the Palestinians. When a Palestinian journalist gives you the thumbs up then good on you - Thousands of kids have been murdered - let's not forget that!

Gutsy second half performance.

Their goals come at the worst times imaginable.

Our opener you really need a slice of luck it’s toss of a coin to say Idah is or is not affecting Neur.

Seen the pen shout back regardless if the Bayern player touches the ball he has still fouled Engles stopping him retrieving the ball it’s a pen.

Didn't like the ref and officials either. They gave all the big decisions to Bayern.

 

On the basis of what? Bayern are stronger in every single department than Atalanta.

 

Competed very well against a very good team and had some very questionable decisions go against us, overall very happy with the progress we are making in Europe and if we keep improving year on year then wins against the big teams should hopefully come with it.

 

Based on what I seen tonight, I don't think Bayern are winning this competition.

 

Yeah. Next week is later when we will beat them in Munich
