Should have had him in earlier in the window so he could have started tonight. It's daft little things like that that always cost us.

Same. Thought it was gonna be one of those games where a player caves in but composed himself and did well.

His position to lose, now. If Taylor wants to leave(I have massive respect for Greg and love his contribution to our club over the years) then I would absolutely love to see him and Tierney on our left hand side of defence.

Tbf we were hoping it was going to be Tierney until pretty late into the window

Looked so off the pace it was frightening the first few minutes, then strolling it by the end. Has to start next week.

Then get KT done. If you put all your eggs in that basket, you have to get it over the line. Either way, it was a misjudgement. Neither KT nor a fit Schlupp loses that first goal tonight.

Horrendous start but got slightly better. A big ask.

Sadly, he will be a victim of Greg Taylor being untouchable in the eyes of coaches

Not so sure, Olise took a heavy touch, hit Taylor on the shin and Olise got the break.

You can argue he kept Olise onside, but if he playersnthe offside trap there and misjudges it, it's a certain goal.

Maybe could have gotten tighter but it's fine margins

As much as I would rather Valle had stayed for the short term nature of this loan, I'm quietly impressed and wouldn't be against Schlupp and KT as the options for next season.

It's not forward planning, but the quality and experience is decent and sometimes I guess we need that. Maybe more so of KT is to actively not play every game.

His wages would be the issue though. Big issue.

Dodgy start, grew into it. A big strong unit. I really like him.

It’s not quite as easy as that. Arsenal weren’t going to just give him to us and even if they had of done it wouldn’t have been until right at the end of the window when they were satisfied they didn’t need him.

Similar with Shlupp tbh, teams won’t just give guys on the fringes of the first team away at the start of the window incase they pick up injuries and they need them.

We could do worse than sign him at the end of the season though, would be excellent cover for KT if he was happy with that.

I think he's a better defender than most people realize and I don't blame him for that. I've watched it back and he actually anticipated and read the pass really well and that let him get back against a much stronger and faster player to be fair; but his lack of speed and size means that he has to judge everything perfectly at this level and any slight hesitations, unlucky breaks of the ball or rebounds take him completely out of the game against players of that level of physicality. We've seen it before.

It's harsh of me to say this, because he's a good footballer who can't do anything about his size and speed, but Schlupp has the physicality he lacks.

Thought he was excellent when he came on. His physicality was a big help second half.

Still getting up to speed but looking the real deal, just a pity we never brought him in on first day of window, I understand the KT situation but still, would have been low dollar and so what if we ended up with all 3 for a few months.

I can't recall Taylor being in that position anytime of late and certainly can't recall him putting a ball in like that. Which sums it up. Was a great cross.

Clearly not 100% match but even 50% he's a better option than Taylor in Europe
