Alistair Johnson had his best game for us was immense

All played well didn't like the tactics but everybody performed

Khun and idah were ineffectual I thought though,, but the tactics didn't help them

Would have played maeda up front but Rodgers got to think of how it may effect idah or Taylors mental state, bet big jock would have just played the best player for the game

Generally happy. In days gone by we would have taken 3-4 after going 2 down. Again showed spirit. But there was no chance against the Bayern from the first half.

 

Easily said now but Rodgers missed a trick not starting Schlupp and Jota - he got the decision back to front. Maeda *has* to start in the middle next week.

 

Genuinely get more annoyed every time I watch Harry Kane’s goal.

They are that good that they can force almost any team in world football into defending for 45 minutes if they're on it. We did so and did it well, a couple of moments aside. We didn't panic, were brave on the ball, and created chances, even first half. Grew into the game and showed brilliant mentality to almost bring it back to 2-2.

I'm looking forward to next week. No reason we can't make it interesting.

 

All I know is we look much better when we're being positive, aggressive and trying to score. We sat off for 75 mins ffs.

You can be pragmatic and still be aggressive and threatening when you go forward. Being braver doesn't automatically mean = leaving yourself wide open.

We play too passive at times and that gets us nowhere.

I will say the officials were a disgrace though.

 

We literally done what he's suggesting against Dortmund and lost 7-1.

It's a genuine bit of bad luck and a world class goal otherwise our strategy worked and it's 0-0 at half time.

winning the ball high up the park the 2 or 3 times we manged in the first half within 2 passes it was back with kasper. No one was expecting for them to be constantly on the front foot against Bayern. Certainly not me. Winning the ball that high up pitch and first thing you think is pass it backwards lacks bravery imo
