Very proud performance...if we manage to get a couple of high quality players in with Tierney we could be a really decent European team... obviously we always want to be in the champions league but that Celtic team with a few players could win the Europa... don't want to be in that though as that means losing the league.

Played well overall, last 10-15 we gave them a massive fright.

One thing I will say though, Hatate needs to do something about his mentality, seeing him standing there looking dejected after the final whistle annoys me. He needs to get out his own head in games like this.

That * back passing has to stop. Took till 2.0 down before they actually started passing the ball towards there goal. And whit a surprise chances were made. Really boils my *

Proud of the boys for an excellent effort. Their first was incredibly fortunate and their second should never happen, very disappointing to leave Kane free and almost unforgivable. Ah well. We gave it our best shot and kept it respectable and who knows what can happen next week.

First half was really disappointing as we looked like we couldnt lay a glove on them. After they went 2 nil up I think their intensity dropped and allowed us to play a bit where we had a decent spell.

I think there are lessons to be learned there. Bayern did their homework on us. They correctly identified that our defence isnt great on the ball and are reliant on shovelling it McGregor to get the ball forward. They sat on McGregor and we either couldnt get out or gave it away in dangerous areas trying to. The huns I believe on the basis of the last two old firms have figured this out as well. So we need a more varied approach to games where we are not likely to dominate the ball.

Can't complain too much with that. Thought we defended well in the first half generally, goal is a sucker punch. Something went horribly wrong with the set up for their second goal, that just can't happen at any level.

Second half was much better, some really good play, deserved to get back in it. Thought Yang did really well when he came on and Maeda worked as well as always.

All I wanted was for us not to be completely out of it for the second leg. Still a massive task but I'm proud of the way the bhoys dealt with this game.

Thought we were excellent. Genuinely can’t believe some of the wild takes I’m seeing in here.

We done every fan proud tonight. Thought we were robust defensively. Beaten by a world class goal in the first half, where the winger gets a wee bit of luck with the ball dropping at him and we were poor for their second. Engels or Johnston definitely lose Kane.

    Well done, Celtic.

Even at the time was saying that. Obviously wasn't the only one, lol, but yeah, those were the games that made it squeaky * against Young Boys just to qualify. Could've made life so much easier for ourselves.

    Spilt milk... and all that.

You don't know that. Bayern's backline is fairly stinking, they looked rattled any time we pressed or attacked them.

I can guarantee Bayern won't be anywhere near that CL trophy. Not sure what their route to the final looks like, but I'd be surprised if they made it to the semis, let alone the final.

We can obviously mix it up in periods of these games, I just question the approach. We wait until the tie is effectively over before trying anything. Why?

Schlupp every time over taylor. He is * useless. Taylor isn't who we need or want.i have never been so against a celtic player but this guy is a comedian for a left back.
The game ... goal should have stood in 1st minute. Taylor hit the ball out 3.times trying to hit daizen. He goes.into reverse in big games but against livi or raith will put in a tackle , anyone else he * it .. goes back or sits well off the opposing player. That is a game we could have drawn all day. Rogers has.to remember subs don't always start at 60 mins. Him and Taylor are the big drawbacks tonight. Sorry to be so negative it's unlike me but by * this was a game we could have won

You can't pass it forward if there isn't an option on

It isn't st Johnstone we are playing. It's Bayern Munich. Their press is right up at the halfway line, really isn't as easy as some of our fans seem to think it is otherwise Bayern would lose games regularly.

    They don't.

At least it makes it interesting for the next leg.

But that was absolutely Bayern going down a couple gears and being happy with a 2-0 or even a 2-1.

We need a bit of luck next week. Need Schlupp to start. Massive decision whether we go with Idah or Maeda through the middle too. They both made a case.

Equally I could turn it round and say you don't know if we went at them it would have worked.

I'm more confident that if we went at them they'd cut us open.

Mate ir doesn't matter if they don't win the competition. They're not an average side that's just nonsense.

There was a goal in the game when we went at them. It wasn't a bad time to go for it. Game is 90 mins long it's really not as simple as you're suggesting.

Some of the takes are insane. We were brilliant against one of the best teams in the world. Two slack moments and they score two goals. Other than that we defended when we had to, were brave on the ball, showed good mentality, brilliant energy. I'm proud as *.

We did well to get back into the game when it looked like we might suffer, but how * annoying was it watching us pass it along the back line with 2 mins to go!!!! Lump high balls into their box, because they looked vulnerable.
Better result than I had predicted though, so happy with the fight.

Taylor can leave. He is the weak link at this level. Our midfield needs big strong units as we lack physicality. I’d punt Hatate. His attitude is not good enough.
    The officials were *.

Done us proud, but giving kane that space is shocking he had way to much time and space, little lapse in concentration is costing us.
Any way , was fearing the worst tonight but the bhoys dug deep and done us proud HH.

Big Schlupp doing an Aaron Mooy. Not phased at this level. hope he stays on!
