Hoping for the best, but i can see us conceding from mistakes we make passing it around the back, really wish we would knock it on the head when we play in Europe, fingers crossed we get something out of it.

If Brendan doesn’t make tactical changes - including a double pivot- we’re in trouble I think. I do fancy us to score though. Taylor is a worry, as per.

If we get a bit of luck and a decent ref, then, you’d never know.

They will hit us from break and score in first 10 minutes. We will win the match if that doesn’t happen.

I know he lays just in the door but playing schlupp in cm in a ledley-esque role would be ideal help for Taylor

I don't remember that one. But I remember that person on here that told us about the dream they had that there was a bomb scare in Boston at a marathon.........then that exact thing happened. The person predicted some of the details exactly correctly. Cause the whole day's events were condensed into a small * in t

    * buzzing for this, there was a point i honestly thought i’d never see us play Champions league knockout football again in my lifetime. We’ve done brilliantly getting to this point, we had an easier draw than most but that doesn’t take anything away from the fact we’ve made it to this stage of the competition. Feels quite surreal to be honest that it’s the eve before we play a champions league knockout game against one of Europe’s best, bring it on.

So happy we aren’t playing Madrid. Bayern are obviously one of the favourites for the whole thing but Madrid are carving City up, as bad as they are, they’d be doing a lot worse to us.

I’d be inclined to agree. He’s the best candidate for it (if fit enough).

Aye I just think every team in the competition wants to dodge Real Madrid. They have an insane ability to win that competition at all costs. Statistics alone tell you that they will definitely beat you, cause they are the most likely team to win the competition by far.
    They've won it I think it's 15 times now

Was in Munich last night for a concert and was in Mariaplatz at lunchtime today when everyone was looking up at the Glokenspiel playing. I just thought , this time next Tuesday, there`s going to be a few visitors to Munich, not knowing whats hit them. Hoping someone has a couple of tickets going spare.

I wonder is there any chance he’ll start with Kuhn through the middle with Maeda on the left and Jota on the right? Prob not, but if Jota is close to full fitness I think it’d be daft not to start him.

That’s true too, I presume Rodgers will set up as per and Jota will come in with half an hour to go.

Am demented trying to figure out the best course of action for us up front. Proper head *.

Obviously Daizen has to start, as does Kühn. But who out of Jota and Idah is dropped?

Jota - Still getting up to speed, yet has looked extremely sharp considering. Very dangerous player who can create out of nothing, score, assist and bring the magic.

Idah - In top form and banging them in, including 2 goals AWAY against Villa. Also get the feeling he needs to keep this momentum going to keep building confidence, and not starting has the potential to derail his progress just at the worst possible moment.

There's also the issue of Daizen looking like he is ready to go up even more levels through the middle...the pace he can hit their centre halves, playing a high line, is mouth watering to think about.

Really love the idea of Jota Daizen Kühn, but also am backing Idah big time to prove himself against the elite.

Cannot * decide what's for the best, I don't envy Rodgers in the slightest!
