    Completely agree.

I would definitely upgrade the stadium in such a way that we could host those types of events.

Would go for the hotel etc. too.

Honestly I’d buy every bit of land going anywhere near Celtic park and build hospitality etc.

In Glasgow? No chance. There's plenty we leigh Griffiths running around with 12 kids each.

What mask? If you check HP&R, you will find I'm not hiding the fact that I agree with the majority of the UK population behind a mask. I am happy to discuss that topic with you that topic in HP&R where it belongs.

It is completely *. Has it ever been raised at an AGM? Shouldn't really need it.

Honestly think a resale system just compounds the problem. No way people give up a season ticket if they are getting money back on games they don't want to go to. In effect it just makes their season ticket cheaper as they claw cash back they wouldn't get just now. Up the stadium size and possibly look into options that move people on days when the stadium isn't filled. Just usher them down to fill the seats and compress the seated areas. Get the whole bottom section of the old jungle going again as an Ultras area, all standing.

    Are you forgetting about migration?
There’s nothing absurd about a relatively small capacity expansion.

The resale system works at other clubs, no reason it can’t with us.

It's called land banking, and it's actually a good business idea... Not sure it's the BEST idea, but from a business perspective the more land around your core premises the better as it allows you to develop now and into the future, while also stopping others from hedging you in to use your business as a captive entity you need to buy out or to provide competition against your own model for services etc.

Saying that, it's not great for the area or people if it's not used to actually develop, or to choke out healthy competition against price gouging

Agree it works elsewhere mate but we aren’t every other club. The demand for us far outstrips the supply, not always the case elsewhere. I’ve been on the list for 5 years now I think, still got 3 to go. Upshot is when I come back I just pay a guy from Ireland for his ticket as he isn’t using it out with the major games. He’ll never give it up as he doesn’t need to, & I don’t blame him. He gets the best of both worlds.

We could do with going upto 70k surely.

Keep the amount of season ticket holders as is but then make the near extra 8k more affordable to those without a season ticket to then attend matches and try and create some sort of plan that works with supporters as a whole to really hammer home the aura and atmosphere of a Celtic home game.

Put something together that makes even going to a home game against Raith Rovers a worthwhile outing for everyone.

The grand old stadium definitely need’s refurbished, ideally if that included a stadium capacity increase then brilliant, is there not something about the main stand being listed so this causes complications with alterations or rebuilding?

Sorry for answering so late, the game was on and by the time it finished, I had forgotten.

So, if it is 4 is with 3 women, that's well below replacement rate. In fact , it's actually even below the average. Loads of guys like him running around doesn't help. Far from it.

You’ve just stated the issue right there, there’s a guy who’s never giving up his seat in Ireland. So whether this system is in or not, supporters aren’t giving up their seats.

You giving him money, whether it’s a token amount or a fair amount, is the same as if the club resells the tickets.

I don’t see what the problem is with a season ticket holder handing back tickets for resale by the club under a similar scheme as some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Is it possible under this scheme that the club gets more money and the season ticket holder gets less, leading to people less likely to hoard seats?

    No, I wasn't forgetting that.

If you want to discuss why I don't think that's a solution, I can do so in HP&R. But if (like me) you'd rather avoid that topic for the moment, then a politically neutral answer for here would be to point out polling data and ask how much longer current migration levels will continue in the light of that. I'd suggest just 4 more years is the likely answer.

    Migration will continue.
