    Maeda a huge miss.

Hoping Bernardo will start this one. Hatate as good as he is will lose it too many times in dangerous positions and they’ll be lethal.

Would love to see Schmeichel, AJ, CCV, Trusty, Schlupp, McGregor, Engels, Bernardo, Kuhn, Idah, Jota start this one.

Have a feeling Wednesday could be a special night. 3-1 Celtic.

Idk, Hatate was dynamite against Leipzig, whilst Bernardo was like a scared wee boy against Dortmund. Infact Hatate was probably our best player in that game when he came on.

My worry for this tie is the midfield. Look how much space we gave Brandt and Rogers.

Musiala will murder us if we don't learn from that.

Aye I'd be going with the double pivot.

Controversial but I'd play Bernardo and Engels sitting with McGregor advanced. But it'll never happen in a million years.

Maeda obviously be great to have him but I'd rather him for the away tie if I was to pick.

Expecting a defeat in both legs tbh..

Just hope we can give a decent account of ourselves and give us something to build on..

Our target should be to keep the tie alive for the second leg. At celtic park a result isn't impossible if everyone plays to their best and we ride our luck a bit.

Sorry if this is really defeatist but all I'm really hoping for is that we take the lead at some point in the game at least, just so I can at least feel the buzz of that.

Incase you can't tell, I don't rate our chances of progression

The crowd will have an enormous part to play on Wednesday, if the players give us something to shout about in the first 5/10 mins be it a goal or a chance or even a solid tackle we can get momentum behind us.

They are a quality outfit with dangerous players all over though and to keep a clean sheet would be near enough a miracle IMO.

Yeah one positive is that the crowd will be in full on support mode. When we’re favourites sometimes every mistake is met with groans and people get anxious that we’re not ahead. In these games it’s just pure passion where a corner is celebrated like a goal. Love that.

Think if any chance at all we would need to take over a 2 goal lead....and even then we would need another Atalanta type of night to help us.

Rather have Bayern that Real though so lets do this......Big Big Night at Paradise and frighten the * outta them.

Hopefully we dont get another * of a ref that just wans to see all the top dogs in the later rounds and * us over...

the biggest issue we have is our front 3 ,i cant see any of them playing the 90mins. at which point we are expecting yang, kenny to come on and perform .the dropoff is stark . if we are still in the tie at that point rodgers needs to shut up shop and play more experienced players even if they are out of position .playing yang and kenny we may as well be 2 men down

Closer this gets the more the lack of Maeda bothers me.
