Kyogo has been very poor by kyogo standards for us, absolutely. As a general standard he's been pretty poor, yup... But he's also been still doing tons of runs and work that never gets seen and connected with.

If he'd wanted to go and got held back I understand his frustration, and how it would unsettle any player. He never complained or downed tools, so fair play. But he's undoubtedly been a shadow of his form under Ange with Rodgers... Don't think that's controversial at all...

At the time we were formed, and in a cultural context, we were a club open to all (unlike Hibernian), and that was the point our founders were making—we are proudly and primarily here to support the impoverished RC Irish community. However, we are not a closed shop, and that's reflected in our name: Celtic, rather than Hibs, Emerald, or Harp.

Then, as the 20th century came around and rolled on with Oldco entrenched in bigotry and doubling down on their sectarian employment policy, our being open to all was one of the things that stood us apart from them — and even helped us win the European Cup.

In more straightforward terms, Brother Walfrid meant: We won’t exclude non-Catholics.

These days, it means we welcome people from all over the globe from all walks of life.

Common sense dictates that “open to all” should be understood as promoting positive inclusion and equality and rejecting bigotry, discrimination and prejudice.

We look better without Kyogo. Wonder if him being unsettled and wanting to leave was affecting the unity in the squad.

I do like it when someone posts an actual controversial opinion in here.

I like Trusty but definitely not.

Could be on to something. The whole team seems to have had a lift since he left. Jota coming back has had a big impact off the field, so I think that's also part of the buzz around the full place just now.

The Japan manager maybe has a better eye for a player than we thought he did…

The best football under Ange was when Kyogo was out injured with his hamstring in his first season

The Green Brigade and Bhoys should disband and form a united group called ‘The Celtic Family’ and should just sing songs about players and ditch politics.

Interested to see if the tactics get the blame if Idah/Maeda keep banging them in through the middle...

Only if you only count trebles that include continental trophies. Domestic trebles are still trebles.
