Even when he plays very well half the posts are calling him * or not good enough.

    Kid doesn’t stand a chance.

He's not good enough tho, he's had plenty of chances and proved it many times. Nothing against him, he seems like a cracking lad, and I was really chuffed for him tonight but that's just the reality of it.

    Coz he isn't.

Should have been loaned out with kwon..
Had far many more chances than a lot of others and pretty much through necessity now

You'd think players can never learn, develop and improve.

I'm not saying he's going to ever be a starter here but today was a step in the right direction. I don't see the use in slating the guy.

If he can being some consistency to the end product then he's a useful option

Agree...Daizen was critized all the time when joined which everyone now forgets...he needs though to also show he deserves in team because upto now he looks like an ordinary player...

i've said he's pish but works hard plenty of times, decent physical attributes but lacking end product, but it seems like Rodgers might think he can be coached into something useful and..i'm not against it, he's not going to be on a big wage, and Forrest is winding down. Bring in a new winger this summer that's competeing to start, and let him keep developing as backup if he can, unless we have someone in the b team that's ready to step up.

I mean some daftiess on here still said similar about Maeda until pretty recently, he works hard but he's never a footballer etc... And GG couldn't buy a goal til the year befrore we signed him, you never know how players are going to develop late or early.

Yang has got more end product and is far more robust than Mikey Johnson ever was for us.
And we got £2.5M for the useless and injury prone Mikey.

Daizen contributed a * ton more in his first 5 games than Yang has in 50+

That's my point...Daizen was still critized even though like u say was trying his best...now arguably best player...

Once again, play him on his favoured side and you'll get the benefit. It's not rocket science.

He didn't just try his best.

    He forced mistakes....assisted and scored.

And still giving him stick...Kuhn last year?...different player now...right now don't think Yang has it as not seen anything out the ordinary but my point was in general too quick to judge

I myself even questioned the Kuhn signing cause he was bang average to begin with.

Tom Rogic too.... It took years for him to get to the starting lineup. He literally spent years in the background. But when he came good... he was * awesome thereafter...

Its whether or not to persist with the player on the hope that he will come good.
To me, Yang, is not the standard we require. He tries but he's limited in his ability. Oh was the same. If we are honest he just not Celtic standard......or at least shouldn't be.... We shouldn't persist for too much longer unless his big breakthrough comes between now and May...... Which is unlikely

Although in saying that I just watched the Raith Rogers highlights and Yang had a great game.
Cantg take it away from him. Probably his best game for us...... So you never know, there's enough games left for him to impress if he keeps playing like that
