Fair play to him if he's wanting to try his luck over there, something a bit different, think he'll do well enough in any league personally and will be difficult to replace, harder than a lot of people realise in my opinion. Hope things work out with Tierney but I can't say I'm not concerned with his injury problems.

He's done really well and always gives maximum effort, good luck to him if he is offski, come the summer he will no longer be first choice LB, canny wait to see KT back in a Celtic jersey with an adequate back up whoever that may be.

See how schlupp goes but if he shows, pace, power and drive then offering him a 2 year deal with KT signing would do me

Maybe I have got this miles off the mark but, I think he is passing the ball forward more often than he previously was, particularly over the past few games. My opinion, I think he has been excellent and would love home to sign a new deal.

Be gutted to lose him but think Zagreb would be a good move for him. Will be a loss to the squad but as always we move forward.

Only way I see him signing new deal is if Brendan tells him that he's planning on using KT to partner CCV at CB (which would then reduce risk of KT sustaining soft tissue injuries running up and down the pitch at fullback) leaving Taylor to maintain his LB first choice place

Looks like he's not willing to play second fiddle to KT at LB

I’m not convinced the issue is first team football. I think even with Tierney coming in he would feel like he would get enough game time.

I think this would mainly be a money thing. He’s going into his last big contract and he needs to make as much as he possibly can. If we’re bringing in Tierney it will be on a top wage, I can’t see us giving Taylor a big wage when they will compete directly for the same position.

Assuming that’s the case I don’t have any problem with him leaving. I like him as a player and would like him to stay but he’s got to make sure he maximises his earning in football. He’s been a good servant to the club, he deserves it.

I suspect the reason he is leaving is spite. The support never took to him and he strikes me as the kind of person that would take that personally. Bit of an assumption but it's as good as any other explanation.

I can't see Zagreb being able or willing to offer substantially bigger wages than we would here. He counts as a homegrown player and he's literally our only LB so I doubt they were massively gazumping us. Has to be another reason. Could be first-team football but he'd have plenty of it with Tierney aroud anyway.

Slightly odd choice, if true, that he will be heading to Dinamo Zagreb at the end of the season.

I get that first team football is important, as much as he is 27 now (I think), so pretty much at his peak, so you would think that he would be looking at a significant pay rise to reflect that and match what he has on his resume would justify. With KT's imminent return in the summer and coupled with Celtic's current wage structure can understand why he rejected the various previous offers from the club and don't begrudge his desire to look elsewhere, but if this is true, seems something of a sideways move.

Deserves a lot of appreciation from the fans, which I expect he won't get. Has been a stalwart here and a key part of a successful era.

That would be the celtic way. Sign the best left back in Britain when on form... play him CB.

    No thanks.

I think Dinamo Zagreb's a great move if he's determined not to stay tbh. I'd take that all day over a * middle of the road English team.

Gorgeous city, great food, weather, passionate fans and big chance of silverware. Fair play to him.

True but flip side is he is a weak link that gets exposed against decent opposition.

Honest pro was generally a good servant for celtic. Some fans of course need a focal point for their anger and unfortunately he was it more often than not...
