Think he is a decent cb, no issues with him at all. Actually think, we are about to see our strongest looking defence in sometime, if we can keep our defenders past the summer and add Tierney, good times ahead

Got caught a few times but on the flip side he made some good challenges, used his pace second half to stop their attacker

Nothing worse than a “told you so” *.

Literally waiting and hoping for him to fail.

It's like you've never seen me post before. All I do is stick up for players when * are on their back, wanting to give them every chance to make the grade. Trusty is no different, I hope he manages to cut out the bambi on ice impressions.

Your insistence on attempting to dig me out, with things that are the opposite of what I actually post, is entertaining though. Keep at it mucker, you'll get it right one day :50:

I cannot believe how active his thread is after a very routine 6-0 win where our defence was barely tested :56:

    A come back to what?

You’re giving me nothing to come back to. You make yourself look stupid, you don’t need my help.

“All I do is stick up for players”.

Aye? Refs whistle wasn’t out his mouth and you were in here slating Trusty after a 6-0 win.

Nothing to come back to? How about the actual post you quoted? The one where I pounted out how off the mark you are with your perception of me 'willing players to fail'.

Get accused of being a happy clapper by a large chunk of posters on here, yet here you are thinking am needlessly on a players back. * wow :giggle1:

Sit this wan oot wee man.

He'll get caught out badly a few times over the next couple of months to the point folk will be screaming for him to be punted. It's been building over the last few games, he's a disaster waiting to happen.

    Don't say yous weren't warned

I know you're no the brightest, so I'll explain.

This is called a 'prediction'. It could easily be wrong, but I believe it will happen, based on what I've seen from him so far.

You, in your innocence, think that qualifies me as being desperate for a player to fail. Which if you've studied my posts over the years, which you clearly have, you'd know I'm literally the last person you could label as that.

You come out the woodwork once every 6 month or so to try pull me up on a post and every single time you make a rip roaring * of it. It's a wee shame really.

I thought he could have been a little bit stronger for the yellow card foul (which was never a yellow card btw) but to call him out over that is just beyond silly.

He was fine, more than fine.

He easily had the boy for pace during that duel and was being pulled the whole way as well. It was only because Trusty's pull was more obvious to the linesman but he was in control of that..

He has moments here and there, so does Carter-Vickers by the way. He isn't some melt though, look at our penalty, getting pulled down all the way and still got his header on it, despite Sylla trying everything to stop him..

See to be fair, @Double Dutch is one of those annoyingly positive posters on this forum 99% of the time, so if he’s being negative here it’s very much the exception that proves the rule.

On Trusty, I’ve been surprised how good he is to be honest. I thought we were buying a definite bomb scare.

I feel like more recently he’s been a bit shakey, as if there’s something going on. He seems to be grabbing at players more. In his early days he was very passive so maybe it’s a kinda over reaction to that.

I think he’ll settle down in the coming weeks though. Possibly it’s the volume of games he’s not used to.
