I'd give him the last 20mins v Raith, rest but keep him ticking over, depending how the game is going.

    Hope he keeps it going.

Loving the type of goals he's scored. Proper striker ones. E.g. poaching *.

Also has the same number of goals as Kyogo now this season.

Despite about 800 less mins and most of his appearances being off the bench.

Sure they'll reappear as soon as he misses a chance.

Said it when we signed him about his fee, his already paid that back with winning the league and cup double and making sure we got that champions league money.

this is why we need to be spending like this on him and Engels. Proves that the scatter gun approach spending 1-2 million is not working and unearthing a gem is costing us millions in fees and wages.

proper scouting and getting these hungry young players in l, is the way forward.

I think give him the 1st half, being the "main man" is important to him, so play to his confidence and bring on Kenny in the 2nd

Aye, even if we want to keep him as fresh as possible for Bayern it would be daft to not start him while he's looking like getting into a run of form, give him 45-60 minutes then bring Kenny on.

Getting pie from fridge now and tucking in! In fairness, I've never said he was * just inconsistent having watched him for Ireland. But I always believed he was worth his £9m for stopping the blue tarts getting financial parity with us.

Hope he now kicks on for Ireland too!

Not at all and once again he showed that as a finisher he is top drawer. He has other areas where he can improve but in terms of his ability to finish he is already top class.

With no Maeda available for Bayern I wouldn't risk him.

He was always looking to get involved last night and his movement off the ball was excellent. He's only going to get better I think.

    That's a brilliant stat..

I'll hold my hands up. I was starting to get worried about him a couple months back. It wasn't just the misses, it was his overall demeanour and no really trying to rough people up and get involved. It was all looking almost half hearted/deflated running about which was obviously purely down to confidence..

The difference in him now though. His overall game looks much better than at any point last season, bar Rugby Park where he was outrageously good..

Anyone else worried, he'll injure himself with that knee-slide celebration... :fear:
