He just seems to glide across the grass with an effortless beautiful motion.

Can tell he isn’t totally match sharp, but what a ball for Maeda. Cannot wait to see him at full throttle again. We are the club for him.

A cameo tonight of what we’ve missed since he left, just a guy you want to pay to watch play.

Not even selfish with it either, he links up beautifully with his team mates.

He’s so good at going on both the outside and inside of the full back … every time he’s on the ball you just have the belief he can make something out of nothing. Love watching the guy play.

He’s going to be so important. Can score goals, cross, team player, feeling loved. We have honestly won a watch here. Next season he’s hitting 15 goals 15 assists. Easy. I’m not gay, but if it happened…

I'm not gay neither and my love doesn't come cheap but if I was I'd want my man to make an effort to amaze me. He did that today in abundance. So refreshing to see new players showing the skill and technique

Think that's exactly it. He's exactly what I want to pay to see.

We have a really good balance of skillsets there across him, Maeda and Kuhn.

Probably in the same boat as the majority of our fan base when I say he’s looking MUCH better than I expected him to be. I thought he would contribute this season and then kick on next season to his previous levels. Right now he looks just as good if not better than he ever looked before. His football hasn’t been bad either.

If he does those numbers it'll be a downgrade on this seasons Maeda and Kuhn :fear:

He's just a class above the rest for me, always a step ahead, as Brendan says, he has all the finesse and guile but he also has the execution with it

I have absolutely no clue as to how it didn't work out for him in Saudi or France, I'm thankful it didn't as we wouldn't have had him back so soon, just a joy to watch, he was training with Benzema and Kante every day for a year too which would have done him no harm in learning from players such as that

He's no mercenary either, he could have sat on his * for 3 years in Saudi collecting a tax free £200K per week if he wanted to, instead, after a year, he decided to leave, how many other players would have made that decision? Practically none.

He's much more creative than Kuhn as well who is still decent himself.

Kuhn has certain patterns of play he repeats to a great level. Where as Jota just does things off the cuff and his end product is immaculate wether he goes inside or outside to cross and he can do either at the drop of a hat. You never know what Jota will do, where as you can read Kuhn you just can't stop him.
