I know it would be madness but how amazing would that be to watch :56: Prime Maeda hounding part-time plumbers. CCV flattening the guy that done your flooring last week

So glad he’s not leaving Ayr, can do something truly amazing with them if he gets them up

    Same.

I think Skoosh can make a name for himself at Ayr, and have, if he wants, the pick of even bigger jobs in the future. Not a bad place to be based either, down the Ayrshire coast. :giggle1:

Getting Ayr promoted could be massive for him in terms of where he could go after them. Good on him and hope he keeps on this kinda trajectory for his managerial career.

If he manages the improbable and takes them up, next year they’ll need so many players to take their squad level up to the premier league.

could be the perfect chance for us to send 2/3 players out on loan in the prem and see how well then can handle it. Agbaire, Murray and another prospect for me would be great!

we could always be trying to get players out on loan as high a level as we can but I’m sure most times teams within our league don’t want to develop our players over their own. With broony it would be a case of benefits for both sides due to their small squad

I think if he were to get them promoted his name mibbes be in the frame for something along the likes of Hibs/Aberdeen if eitehr of them opened up or mibbbes a Championship team doon south.

He’s still young, those chances will come along in the next 10 years+. He shouldn’t leave Ayr within the next 2 years I don’t think, definitely not if he gets them promoted. Be a kick in the teeth to them too!

    True.
Ayr were a basket case when Broony took over. He's made them a good solid team again, with a good chance of promotion.
I would love to see the Honest Men in the SPL, and he sticks around them for a good bit.

Must have been gutted to loose that at the death last night, was hoping to draw Ayr in next round.
    Hope they get promoted.
We should be bending over backwards to loan him out some of our promising players.

Yeah just as long as it's not next.

Think he needs to go to a Hibs or someone like that and continue his development but you could see our board make the lazy/easy choice and give it to him when Rodgers leaves next year

Aye and broony wouldn't turn us down whether he was ready or not. Last night his Ayr team gave Hibs a better game than most of spfl has recently, bodes well for his and our future

True, be good to take Ayr up and sort of cut his cloth in the SPL, then as you say, someone like Hibs.
