Mark Lawwell and Joe dugeon, lipservice to keep the fans at bay.

Same when PL stepped down, they knew he was gonna be chairman within 18-24mths anyway, but make it sound good to ease fan pressure.

This time, the squad has performed well in Europe and the board will lean on that feel good factor from the fans to see them through any grumbles.

You are right, but Ange showed us a market where well-developed footballers are more than reasonably priced. And he showed that doing things fast is possible, even when plans fail initially (McGree---> O'Riley).

If the board have crossed Rodgers again, we might need Ange back due to a sudden managierial vacancy!

 

Well aye, I don't think anybody is happy that we didn't replace kyogo, no doubt about it. The thing that affects Rodgers is whether he feels the board backed him and tried to get in his targets and, for whatever reason they didn't materialise or whether he thinks they didn't and * him over. I think he'll definitely let us know one way or another.

Can clearly tell he's * off though. Says its a collective but you almost get the feeling from those words that he's more unhappy with someone than others during the window..

There's been a clear * up. Everyone knows it and he's basically said it..

He is right as well about it no derailing the season. He's done a fantastic job and plenty to play for..

It better be sorted in the summer..

He isn't happy.

Clearly not wanting to let his own annoyance to spill out and be used against him or the squad.
But plenty in there to highlight he is disappointed in this window as well.

Well he's come out and said the KT deal wasn't close and it was down to arsenal

 

He knows that as well, I think that's part of his not wanting to let this spill over currently.

He's had his before and he knows what the outcome can be.

Head down and work with what he's got, not happy with how little he has though.

Would not be surprised if he leaves at the end of the season.

Thats what we need. In grand sheme of things, we still have strongest squad, can be 13pts ahead tomorrow and have Bayern soon. So all is still where we need to be.

 

I've always felt the KT deal was never happening this window.
Arsenal owe us nothing, * more likely not wanting to help us out considering they already gave us £25m for the lad in the first place.
