Excited to see how he goes but throwing him on to dig us out a hole when under pressure would be madness.

 

Baffling that after a nice cameo at the weekend he didn't get a chance there tonight, I think most if us would've started him over idah tbh, does Rodgers just not have the balls to make a decision like that?

 

He looked lively at the weekend, I'd have given him a shot personally, 30 mins in. Think Taylor off for Valle was a bit pointless.

I thought Rodgers should have brought Kenny on instead of Palma. And taken MrGregor off instead of McCowan.

 

Totally agree, mcgregor is guaranteed to play all of every game while offering very little all too often

 

Would've played him as well..

His directness and unpredictable chaos he caused the other day would've created openings I think..

Maybe has a move lined up imminently..

 

If he shows enough in training I'm sure he'll get more chances.

 

What are your hopes for Johnny Kenny in the second half of the season?

Well, initially, for Johnny was to come back and for me to have a look at him over a few weeks.

He's come in, he's done very well and then we assess it from there.

 

Talk about a loan to Hibs.

 

Id happily do without a new striker and rely on him and idah if it meant we would sign a real quality DM.

Kenny's got something about him methinks.

 

Hope he doesn't get loaned out. He looked good when he came on and at some point you've got to give young players a chance in our first team to see if they can do it.
Wouldn't mind finishing this season with Maeda, Idah, Kenny and Cummings as our strikers. If we sign someone else these guys will never get their chance.

 

If we are even debating loaning him out I think Rodgers mustn’t see anything in him. Now’s the time for him to get a chance and we already have one £9mil valued striker… if we sign another Kenny will never play for us.

As I said in the transfer thread he can go in loan to any team due to the LOI running from march to November.

SPFL Premiership loan will suit him well also doesn't take up a loan slots.

 

I think a loan to a hibs, st mirren, utd, would be good for him. Just end of the season. He needs regular football and won't get much especially when we sign a new striker.

 

Hibs would be a cracking move..

One of the most attacking, form sides in the league. They just don't have a really prolific number 9. That boy with the Russian name is woeful infront of goal, Gayle has scored a few, Youan is a mixed bag. Kenny is on form, quick and hungry..

He isn't gonna make it for us, but he'd do well there and make us a decent amount in the summer..

 

Aberdeen need a striker as well as another option. But either way a loan to another team in our own league for the rest of the season makes sense then we can really have a better picture of whether he is capable of coming back to us in the summer and being a part of the first team squad.
