    Keano was another deadline day massive signing. I think the Bellamy one carries more weight because we were desperate for a game changer since larsson left the season before.

    He's not been linked bit it would fill a spot and give Idah a chance to prove he's the man to lead the line.

    Schlupp signing makes sense tbh as cover until the summer. No more wingers/strikers coming in makes us entirely dependent on no injuries to Kuhn, Jota, Idah or Maeda.

    Very needless risk to take.

    To me Jota, Schlupp and getting KT pre contract tied up is far, far from a “* window” ffs.

    Could we do better? Of course, we always can. We’ve had unbelievable windows before (you know the one) and it turned out terrible. At least with Jota and KT we know what we are getting, top quality players for this league and a step up in quality and depth. Schlupp who knows how he’ll get on but he’s been a decent player at a good level with bundles of experience.

    I swear some will never ever be happy with whatever we do.

    Not replacing kyogo would be wild though. Think that's the big issue.

    Rodgers won't be happy with that not happening. Never mind the fanbase.

    Our manager has stated several times he wants another striker. Doesn’t matter a * really what we think, it’s what the manager has wanted for weeks/months knowing Kyogo would leave. At this stage we have not delivered what he wants. There is no way anyone can dress that up as a good thing

    We could sign an entirely new squad for £150m and that could still happen against Bayern.

    The issue with not strengthening now is more about the summer and hopefully, impending UCL play off.
