    Schlupp is probably better than Taylor. He will be absolutely fine until the end of the season. What were folk expecting with Tierney already due to come in the summer? It was never going to be a superstar for a 6 month loan

    Schlupp will no doubt sign on for free in the summer at approaching 33. We'll be needing a left back who's ready for about 30 games next season from the off/bench..

    Honestly don't think anybody would be overly upset with this on its own (other than maybe letting Valle go then scrambling for a replacement) but in the context of the rest of the window if we don't sign anybody else then a 32 year old Jeffrey Schlupp for 6 months being the only signing we make after Rodgers mentioned getting another forward and leaving the window stronger than we came in to it would be very depressing.

    Agree, think we hoped KT would come in this window, but yes seems a decent level of loan before we get him. Seems to be quite a physical player too? Think we need that.

    What I will say is schlupp is a big, physical player. Which we lack.

    He's 33 this year but whenever I've seen glimpses this season still looks fit as a fiddle.

    I'd agree with comments that this should be fine as an option out there. Evidently Arsenal aren't budging on KT but he's secured and realistically we have 20 or so games to navigate with Taylor and Schlupp. Should be fine.

    Do we need more? Aye. But I'm now more concerned about striker and even out wide.
