Getting worried as per usual when it comes to our trasnferdealings. Leaving it to the last minute every * time. We need about 3 players in a few hours.

It’s not though is it. Dunno why folk come away with this * every time when they don’t have a clue what’s happening behind the scenes.

    *Lunchtime Update*

Managed to secure the last steak bake in Greggs there. Could be the most exciting purchase of the day.

Fabrizio Romano Exclusive: The steak bake was freezing but it could still be the most exciting purchase of the day.

My bottle of Coke Zero out the fridge was warmer than the bake.

The hope I have is remember the announcement of CCV, no one knew anything about it and it was announced at like 11:30 at night.

Until they say business is done I’ll believe someone will come in.

Remember, that happened in a summer window where there wasn't the direct influence of certain folk.

We quickly resorted to type by the following summer.

We will definitely get at least 1 done. Things move fast on deadline day. Left back hopefully and if it’s not a loan for Tierney it will be for someone at LB.

We will bring someone in today, I'm certain of that. It's just the quality I'm worried about.

Been wrong 1000's of times before though :56:

We’ve seen plenty of surprises or quick movers before. Relax for now.

Throwing in my two cents of speculation here..

My feeling is Rodgers intends to go at the end of the season. I'm not convinced he likes staying here any longer than that regardless of what's going on. I feel he's probably been made aware of some opportunity or something like that and his stock is a bit higher after a decent campaign.

I completely agree the current transfer situation isn't ideal, but I don't think it's "walk away" territory. I think Rodgers is
mixing it a bit and playing us. The whole situation at LB stinks - from his comments about Tierney and Taylor earlier in the month to the way Valle left. It's too unusual to assume he's some victim in all this.

Again, I completely agree it's not been an ideal window, but our overall situation is strong. I would happily take this squad with a loan or two for depth for the remainder of the season. We'll then get Tierney in come the summer and money will be spent on a striker and probably another winger at the very least.
