He looks one of those elegant technical players to me, his touch and control of the balll and weight of pass, way he strikes the ball and that.

Reminded me of Paddy McCourt, the way he seems to wait until someone moves towards him then beats them with the ball stuck to him. Or players like Bernardo Silva and those types, although he does in some clips run fast with the ball bye players a lot of them are squaring players up and then soon as they move he goes round them.

 

Is it just me or does this guy look like a better player than Kvistgaarden, despite the price difference?
Totally different styles and roles of course, but I see it more obviously with him.

If we do sign him, looks like we have early Kuhn replacement.

Kuhn is a left footed right winger. This guy is a right footed left winger. I can't see him being Kuhn's replacement. And I find it very irritating that so many people are trying to flog Kuhn already. He's only been here a year, and his first 6 months weren't great.

 

If you find that annoying, wait to you see the people who will want to flog Engels after his first season.

Sarpsborg have confirmed the club have rejected bids for winger Sondre Ørjasæter.

Sky Sports News revealed that Celtic had a bid of £4.6m rejected for the 21-year-old, who is valued at around £7m.

And it’s believed the Hoops are considering an improved offer, as talks continue.

Sarpsborg’s sporting CEO Bjørge Øiestad reiterated the club’s hopes of holding onto their prized assets beyond the transfer deadline.

He said: “We have turned down several offers. I believe and hope Sondre Ørjasæter and Franklin Tebo are Sarpsborg 08 players on Tuesday, but there are clubs out there that can change things around quickly.”

I really like this guy, looks a real pler.
But it's not a priority given we have Kuhn and Jota - even Maeda in the wide positions.
Striker is key priority.

Ideally we get him in and a top striker - but not if another wide player eats into the striker budget.

So is the thinking if we don’t get Kvistgaarden we buy this lad to fill a winger spot and Daizen players more minutes through the middle?

If this is plan B, I could live with that and go get a striker in the summer. In fact I would prefer that too a no hope in signing beyond the summer loan, where we then need more players and upheaval in the summer window.

If that was the decision it would show some sensible forward thinking, which has been sorely missing in our transfer dealings of late.

 

Don't be daft. I'll try offering 4.6 again, but I'll promise to show them a trick that'll lower their energy bills if they agree.

Certainly the impression I got. It would certainly be preferable to panic buying a striker.

 

This one died a death once their board made it clear they were not run by idiots and actually wanted what they seen as a fair market price.
