As i said in the cummings thread think we need to accept It's a realistic idea now that our business is most likely on Jota coming in and we will go with what we have for the remaining league games and UCL matches.

What's left around 20 games max this season?

playing 1 game per week from March onwards looks like board happy to go with what we have and earn some interest on the cash in bank and review in summer which with a 10 point lead and max 2 euro games and what 3 Scottish cup games if you get to final, you can see their point

when you talk about next season they ain't going to pay X amount of wages when they can save that to summer considering we are in playoff round and that's last 2 weeks August it probably is a smart business decision but * fans and manager off.

    Is what it is lads.

As time passes, increasingly likely that it'll be loan options only and none of the names linked previously.

We may sneak KT in, but that's it.

Could have flown RyanAir a week ago and saved the cost of a private jet.

After the way mcowan been playing …. Big jump from what he was doing at Dundee and he was good at Dundee … and the big jump penrice performances from livi to now at hearts well worth a million …. He was their best players in the conference league the balls in from him would have resulted in goals if it wasn’t for that fat hun * shankland

LC in the bag, 99% chance of retaining the title and reached the next round of the CL..

KT and Jota back and sold a 30 year old for 10 million. I'm sure the board are pretty happy with themselves for now.

I know we always need to strengthen but is there a case for waiting until the next widow to strengthen with much better players available.

I'm fairly confident we can see the season out with what we have, I'm 100% certain the board do.

We ain't beating Bayern no matter who we sign and maybe holding off till summer would be better value

Selling our best striker and not replacing him would be inexcusable.

But sadly not a shock with the current regime.

BR can't be happy. I've said before will lose him again and don't really blame him.

If we leave it until the summer you know they'll wait until they see if we qualify for the CL before spending though.

I don't think that's good enough to be honest. Certainly won't take us up a level. Yeah we'll win the league and regardless of what we do we probably won't beat bayern but I'd still like to see us trying to improve.

Grand old team to play for
Cummings has signed a pre-contract with West Ham - we won't see him play for the first team again.

Leaving it till summer carries its own risks though which we all know about.

It's a stupid short sighted approach. We all know that in the summer it'll take us until late July to conclude any deals and have guys with only 3 weeks of being in the squad and barely any game time.

    It'll mean needing

    Striker
    Winger x2
    CM x2
    CB
    LB (back up potentially)

As a minimum all in that window. Signing 3 of those now would ease some pressure on the summer window.

Scott Bain is a good lad. He has never complained, and is meant to be very popular with the players.
Good Celtic servant over the years.
