If he said he wants to leave then they are not going to force him to stay. No player performs to their best if they want to leave. They've known he would be off for a good while. They've just not made any arrangements to replace him.

There should be no need for panic signings 5 mins before the window shuts. It's not come as a surprise.
It just seems like a lack of professionalism.
We just to take no action when he told us he wanted to go.
A more professional set up would have listened to him and immediately went out and started hunting a replacement. 4 months they had not just this transfer window

When did Kyogo leave? Last week. When did we supposedly go for Kvistgaarden? Last week into this week. Doesn't that tell you that we've went for someone we've identified?

And, the most important question - when should we have signed a replacement for Kyogo then? ONLY Rennes came in for him and it was only concluded last week. So say we signed a replacement simply because Kyogo said he wanted to leave - that would have left us with New Guy, Idah, and Kyogo (plus Kenny and Maeda as options) - what would have happened if no one came in for Kyogo????

It reminds me of 1996 when John Collins gave us a whole season's notice that he was going to leave and we did nothing, almost as if we ignored him, and didn't think to either sell him for money or replace him. Just let him walk for free and didn't replace him.

Have you ever actually sat and watched any videos of managers etc actually trying to do deals during transfer windows? It's not exactly as plain sailing as some of you think it to be.

 

You are not lying. We have 3 strikers. None of which are as good as Kyogo. Playing any of them makes the team weaker than when Kyogo was in the team.

Why are we weakening our team instead of strengthening it?
It could have been avoided.
The position could and should have been filled as soon as it was vacated. We are weaker than we were a month ago and we're supposed to seriously try and compete with Bayern Munich? Why would u think that wd would have a better chance of succeeding if we weakened our team before we play them?

We decided to recall Jonny Kenny from his loan due to his performances in Europe.

Do I think we NEED another one in? Absolutely. Is there still plenty of time? Of course there is.

 

I know because we don't have a replacement striker. If there was planning we'd have someone in. There has been no planning cause our plan (unless it's the pishist plan ever) could not have been to sell Kyogo and then wait to the end of the transfer window to bring in someone else.
