Watching that video, I understand how Lagerbielke won awards for being the best defender in Sweden… :fear:

As I posted above previously, something does give me the fear with him.

What I would say is he is clearly strong and aggressive which we badly miss. It would be quite good to have that type up front who could bully defenders. Provided he can control it.

    No thanks.

Only striker we’ve been linked with who actually looks any good is Kvistgaarden. Strelec, Erabi and Iheanacho strike me as players way down the list.

Would prefer Sterlec over this one, he’s not ready for a move to us.

Trouble is we’re obviously struggling in the price of the market we’re searching, Kvitsgaarden looks ready for the move but Brondy know that means they can ask for £10M minimum.

Once you see a club paying £9m, £11m, etc for players then suddenly that's what clubs ask for whoever they want to sell. Possibly got him a bit cheaper before we started splashing the cash. Got to be careful it doesn't suddenly mean we always pay that. Same trap man utd fell into but on a bigger scale.

Thays why £10m is definitely worth the punt. This guy would be close to that.

The goalkeeping and defending is embarrassing tho looking at every goal in it.

Were Leeds not interested in this lad for £8 million last summer?

You seen the state of the defending and goalies at most of Kvistgaarden's goal highlight reel?

Think some folk forget we play in Scottish fitba - it's hardly at the levels of Italian fitba of the 90's.

If Erabi is the guy we're after now after being unable to agree a deal for Kvistgaarden, then so be. Boy looks * solid and direct - exactly what we need in this team, laddies who can get in about it instead of wee weaklings who shirk out of the first tackle or whos shoulders pop out of the joint at the slightest gust of wind...

I like the look of him tbh, I get preferring Kvistgaarden but I think he'd be a very good alternative.

    He looks decent.

One thing that I noticed though is the goals he's scoring from crosses are great balls/poor marking rather than him making great movement.

Would you be making those sort of critiques if he were scoring those goals for us?

No, they're still goals afterall. I'd just have liked to have seen a bit more movement when the ball is out wide, especially given who he'd be replacing

Genuinely don't know what you're on about mate, none of those highlights shows him standing static in the box and balls landing perfectly at his feet.
