    Most clubs in the world fail to get their number one targets the majority of the time. That’s not our problem. I’d rather see us continuing to aim high than settling for projects.

    Our problem is we seem to have top tier targets and then an absolutely massive drop off in quality when those don’t come to fruition. There’s a lack of clear pattern.

    We've just signed Jota and secured a genuine world class LB for next season (at the very least).

    Surely no one in their right mind couldn't think they weren't top targets?

    "Kvistgaarden Is were its been for 3 days, namely they want more of the money guaranteed.

    Tomorrow is d-day but they are talking to 2 other players/clubs too so we’ll see where we are when music stops.

    The winger is straight forward, we go to around 5.5ish (fee and add on mix) and he’ll be joining.

    Final chat with Arsenal will happen Monday morning. No idea though if confident or just a last punt.

    Been offered quite a few players so don’t be surprised if a player comes in and it’s *, where did that come from.

    Still expecting at least 2 in but for me numbers are numbers, it’s quality that counts.
