    Don't think we were ever paying £13 million for him. To me that was always a "Not for sale" price.

    TBH it could still work out. Probably shouldn't overpay in January unless we think he's worth it. But also this is a replacement for our main striker we are talking about.

    If he comes back and continues his form then that price isn't gonna budge.

    Bit disappointing.

    That's what 3 or 4 attempts at getting this guy in the last 18 months. Brondby clearly don't want to sell to us. We should be moving on and all the best to the lad. The 2020s version of Finboggasson

    I get they want good money for him and they are entitled to do that but that's a few windows now they've blocked him from leaving. Fair play to him for not getting * off

    The worry for me is that this happens and the price inflates even higher as teams, who probably don’t have the finances to make a move now, like Ajax, lower end teams in the top 5 leagues, come to the table.

    Tbh I think they could justify that price in the summer, but even then Kvistgaarden might want to leave himself, he's been fairly patient all things considered.

    If Iheanacho joins and doesn't work out I think we'll go straight back for him.

    Realistically we should have just bought Kvistgaarden for whatever Bronsby wanted 18 months ago imo

    Aye I'd say that's easily able to happen.

    But also is anyone going to pay £20m for him? Not convinced.

    I think the valuation here is perhaps more in relation to the stage of the season. I am quite surprised he isn't throwing the huff a bit as he was talking before Christmas about looking forward to a move soon, plus their finances aren't great.

    Maybe it's the case he doesn't fancy a move here either.
