Bare minimum needed this window is LB, LW, ST.

Tierney in early, Norwegian Lad and Kvistgaarden. Get it done, Celtic.

The left back position will still need addressed even with Tierney coming in bcoz we don't know if Taylor is staying so we'll need another player anyway..there's times we do good stuff in the transfer market then other times it's like they drag their heels...if we don't strengthen this window and still play Yang then I really don't know what the real ambition of the club is.

I don't think we need a loan left back either (outside of Tierney ). Quite happy for Scales to be back up left back, would give some extra height to the backline, and keep his eye in.

Finding a decent left back at this stage would be very hard, and I agree they won't want to upset the applecart with Taylor.

As much as he has had his injuries he's been on the bench a lot of the season too. He's played 25 games a season on average but jow many on the bench? Since he came back from his last 2 injuries he's still been in the squad

Yes it may turn out to be a good deal in the long run with Jota but isn't primarily what we need going into the playoffs though where it's backs to the wall, a competent LB and another CD is needed..and then a a mobile striker . Id be concerned if those don't come in

Cant argue with that. Jota wont be up to speed. We cant rush him and risk him getting injured HH

Might be the best way actually. We will still win the league, Scottish Cup still up for grabs, and we have got a fighter's chance against Bayern.

Kenny and Cummings there, people always moaning about not giving youngsters a chance.

Any good? For the future like..

Wycombe have rejected Luton's fourth bid for striker Richard Kone, with the League One top scorer now expected to remain at Adams Park this season.

Luton mounted a bid worth a potential £7m for the 21-year-old, which could have made Kone the third-most expensive player from England’s third tier, but the Chairboys have decided to hold onto their 16-goal striker for now.

Kone is out of contract at Wycombe in June 2026, and has already turned down a number of offers from the club to extend his deal. The Ivorian has ambitions at playing at the highest level of the game.

Luton remain keen on reuniting Kone with former boss Matt Bloomfield, who bought the forward to the club a year ago from ninth-tier Athletic Newham. The Hatters have already signed Exeter striker Millenic Alli this week.

On any potential deal to bring Kieran Tierney in this month? Is that looking unlikely now? Has there been a change in circumstance there?

Yeah, and I won't speak anymore on it because Kieran, I said the other night, by the summer, will be a Celtic player and that's it.

If he's here later in the month, you'll know.

In terms of potential incomings, if that situation has changed, is that an area you'd need to look at and are you still hopeful of bringing in a striking option before the deadline?

We're hopeful of improving the squad. I think that is key for us.

Players have gone out. We want to keep the strength in the squad. We've brought in a few.

We have Jota, who we're really happy with. He's had a great period here and now he's got a chance to build on that legacy. He's a little bit behind in terms of his football fitness, I would say.

But he's a fantastic addition for us so hopefully we can add a few more

Luis Palma, is he one that could go out?

Yes. Yes, there's a possibility for Luis to be leaving and I would expect that to go through.

A loan deal with an option?

A loan with an option, yes

Hopeful of improving the squad? Sounds like no incoming deal is near completion. I want to hear "A player is about to sign for us."

He's been peddling the same message all window. He either knows something or he's genuinely no idea and is hoping like the rest of us.

I think we will bring someone in on loan at the last minute. I'm guessing a striker.
