One mental moment but made a couple of big saves. Been a great signing.

And the save just after that moment, he was * making sure for it not to haunt him.

Our style does come with it’s risks, when that risk turns into a mistake, that’s fine it’ll happen at somepoint as annoying as it is. When that happens though the important bit for me is how the player reacts, and his reaction was * perfect.

After Hart I thought even if we get a better shot stopper in his leadership and experience was going to be impossible to replace. I * loved Hart but Kaspar’s an upgrade in every way, even his leadership skills. And Hart was massive for us using his experience and guiding the squad. I * adore Kaspar. Early days still but I have him up there with Forster and Boruc as best I’ve seen for us in goal. Hard to split them, he comes behind them purely cos he’s half a season into his Celtic career.

Big Jasper will be getting some rest and recovery as most players do after a game

The media only get to see a small bit of Celtic's training

Just being silly that Sinsalo hasn't been seen since he came here.
That Bain getting a match before him would be peak Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed Kasper Schmeichel was simply given a rest from Celtic training on Friday.

There had been fears of an injury to the Celtic No1 after he was missing from training at Lennoxtown.

But Rodgers has revealed Schmeichel is fine for this weekend's match against Motherwell as he joked over the keeper's age.

Responding to a question on Schmeichel missing training, Rodgers said: "He's a bit old, isn't he?

"You've got to look after them. You just need those few wee extra days, give him a little cuddle...he's okay."

No, only one. Kasper Schmeichel won't play

Kasper had a little issue with his back. So he'll miss out in the game

Is is a short term thing?

Yes, he will be okay for Wednesday

He's missed training a few times recently but it was hinted at at his age there was more need to rest him, wish they'd just been honest about his back injury

In fairness, jumping up and down 6 times may actually be more work than he gets in some spfl matches... :56:
