Kvistgaarden turned into a modern day Finboggasson linked for umpteen windows for ultimately nothing to happen. All our eggs wouldn't have been in the one basket but you can just imagine the * rage on Monday if we announce a loan to end of season signing

If Kvistgaarden goes elsewhere, then do we have enough time to get Orjasaeter and promote Maeda to permanent CF solution? Rather that than someone like Osula. Of course, an experienced name would help. Just no projects.

There's been absolutely nothing to suggest we have been trying to sign him this window

Agreed it is silly you, we can both agree that neither player playing a game means anything about where they're going to end up by the end of the window. Point remains is it's not a bad sign like you tried to claim in your original post, sorry if I underestimated your Geographical wisdom about Brondby and Dallas not being domestic rivals.

Kyogo playing a must win CL game and Kvistgaarden playing a meaningless mid-season game aren’t the same thing. If Kvistgaarden was on the brink of a move, Brondby wouldn’t be risking injury by playing them.

Given that Celtic had, apparently, given a deadline for this deal to be closed or we were moving on and that deadline has now past, it’s an easy conclusion to suggest that him playing for Brondby isn’t a good sign. Unless they’re trying to force our hand.

I guess now it’s a case of waiting and seeing what other offers he receives before Monday night and whether he decides to try and force through a move. Perhaps if we’re still looking for a striker by that point, we’ll reevaluate the situation.

Brondby do seem reluctant to sell, and are perhaps dubious as to whether we'll meet their valuation of him. I'll agree it does indicate no deal is close to being agreed, but then again it didn't seem like it was at the moment anyway. By all accounts clubs are still a bit apart in terms of valuation. Every chance he could be signing with us over the weekend though. I don't think we have too many striking targets lined up and I think we're fairly confident of landing him. He's clearly been our number 1 target in the event Kyogo leaves.

Apart from the multiple reports that we are attempting to do so.

None of us know if there's been any official bid.

As you've said there, reports mean * all. Press don't have a clue.

Longer it goes i think it's less likely as others will be interested.

Looking more and more likely it will be a loan striker now.

I would be happy with either Daka or Osula.

Real test of Tisdale this, if we get a loan it's just a continuation of Lawell

Would really rather not bother if we're going to get a loan in

how’s it a test for him? How do we know Rodgers wants him or is interested we don’t? I don’t think we should be over paying wind was higher rated and went for less to a better league and if the player doesn’t want to come to us as he has said previously then * Him!

    Not really.
I'm actually for a loan if it is the calibre of a Osula or Daca.
I don't want us shelling out £13M on an untested player, that none of us has seen playing before.
Tisdale has done no bad so far. Tierney coming sometime, and a lot of misfits out the door, and looks like we might get that Norwegian lad.
