Not seeing the media conference for this on YouTube, aren't they usually up the afternoon before?

Sounds like a cowboy builders firm.

Hope they manage to hold the line...

I think we are going to get pumped tomorrow, got a real bad feeling about the game.

They need to win to give themselves a chance of top 8, whilst we or the club anyway are clearly happy just to have qualified.

We have almost set out our stall by letting Kyogo and Valle go and CCV being out now.

I can see us getting turned over.

Villa are unbeaten at home in 11 games, so it is a tall order. And McGinn was back on their bench, and came on as a sub. Still they have looked tired lately, playing both Champions League and EPL games.

Potter's West Ham smothered their midfield, and got some joy there in the second half, and almost nicked it, so they can be got at.

Atalanta#2 should be our default position away in europe at the very least until we get some sort of foothold on the game. we have absolutely no buisness pushing foward leaving ourselves exposed to villas counter ,it would be playing right into their hands

Weirdly not really arsed about this. All I care about is not getting battered and avoiding any injuries.

I really don’t want Yang or Palma starting as that would be a waste of a shirt. Of the midfielders we have I would maybe play Hatate on the left. He has proven to be quite versatile in the past playing right back for us and also filled in at left back in Japan.

Then in the centre of midfield it would be Bernardo Engels Calmac.
Rest of the team picks itself since there is pretty no other options for the back four with CCV out and Valle gone.

It is going to be a big game for Idah though. Also really need Kuhn to be on a game tomorrow. He has been quite poor recently in comparison to earlier in the season

Yang will start though. Palma is getting sold or loaned. I doubt we'd play McCowan wide.

Bernardo doing the press conference was interesting, usually a player who is going to start the game does the press conference the night before

I really do think a 4-4-2 diamond is potentially at play here

    Schmeichel
    Johnston Trusty Scales Taylor
    McGregor
    Bernardo Engels
    Hatate
    Kuhn Idah
Won't be surprised to see Ralston start though given Johnston is one booking from a suspension

No getting round it, CCV is totally unreliable. Ask any company boss they would rather have a guy who shows up at his work every morning than a guy who may be very good but doesn’t show up on regular basis.

It’s the reason none of the so called ‘big clubs’ in the top 5 leagues have shown an interest in CCV. You can be the greatest defender the world has ever seen but if you’re sitting in the treatment room on match day then they you’re no good to anyone.

Ralston really is way out of his depth at this level. Everyone seen it in the Euro’s the CL is a similar level. I really don’t want to endure the humiliation of being destroyed by an English team. They need very little excuse to spout off about how poor the Scottish League is and how great they think their precious EPL is.

Seen it a few times this season where a player doing the presser hasn't started the match.

    AJ - Scales - Trusty - Taylor
    CalMac
    Engles - Bernardo
    Kuhn - Idah - McCowan
Soak up the pressure and try to get the ball to Kuhn on the counter. Taylor and McCowan to try to get crosses to Idah.

Edit - probably better with Palma than McCowan on the left - forgot about him. In my mind he's already away.

There's not one central defender that is half as good as CCV.

He's no turning up? He's played in 5 of the 8 Champions League fixtures so far. It's not like he's no played his part.

He's been available for around 75% of games this season.
