They could all be playing Wednesday in an alternative universe….

Frimpong, Carter vickers, van dijk, tierney ……

a few of them might have a shout.

Love the idea of this hall of fame, but it’s so difficult to identify which players are worthy.

Club appearances, trophies, iconic moments and goals - as fans we’ll all have different favourites and reasons.

Fwiw some of my favourite players over the years have been.

    Nicolas
    McAvennie
    McStay
    Elliott
    Stubbs
    Collins
    Thompson
    Larsson
    Sutton
    Hartson
    Forster
    Brown
    Van Dijk
    Tierney
    Calmac

Hope this rambling post some how helps

Hooper is either on the verge or slightly into the Hall of fame mark for me. The first time I really felt like we had pace and technical ability up front and it made some good attacking football. You've got to have skelped the huns with memorable goals to be on Kyogo's level in my view and Hooper made a similar kind of impact.

Sutton must be up there, still winding up huns to this day.

Good tae see big Roy get a mention...............Feed the Bear ! :67:

When i was younger never really appreciated just how good Danny McGrain was, probably because he was a defender, at his peak was right up there with the best in the World, although fair to say his shooting wasn't the best lol.

For sure Danny was unreal, what an engine he had box to box all day no bother to him and the bear was just the beating heart of our team for so long after Danny retired. One of my highlights and great regrets as a Celtic fan is the day I got to meet Danny McGrain in person and actually had lunch with him. Cannot say enough about how down to earth he was and how much he wanted to chat about what was going on with football in the US. The regret was that I was so in awe talking to him that I completely forget to get him to sign a top for me. My wife was cracking up after saying she had never seen me so in awe like that as if I was a kid.

That is brilliant mate, never got the chance to meet the great man but by all accounts he is a very down to earth and humble kinda guy.

Always remember the story of a guy who met big Billy, he said Billy called him by his first name and it was the greatest day of his life to meet the big man.

Btw yer giving yer age away here lol.

    Auld Yins CSC.
