It’ll hopefully be 3 main additions for CL.
    Jota
    KT ?
    Kvistgaarden ?

Hopefully sign or sound out a few after the window (I know not our style) and keep them at current clubs without impacting loan criteria. Players linked recently would be perfect prep for next year. Pipe dream stuff but it’s within our reach if we wanted them and we will obviously sell some in the summer. The sale of Khun and Hatate would more than cover them all.

    CM - Lennon Miller
    AM - Alvyn Sanches
    LW - Bazoumana Touré
    RW - Sondre Ørjasæter

Can agree, but still to see this one come through.

No one has signed yet (albeit looks like Jota and KT are all but done).

I get that, but as pointed out by another poster earlier a good player coming in and being told nah mate you are not good enough would just * them off. If you told them in advance they might decide the club isn't that high on them.

Hopefully see Jota and KT done before Wednesday, would be a real boost.

If we are wanting to sign Kvistgaarden and we're close to agreeing anything you'd expect us to hear something concrete within the next few days, no other serious links to any other strikers other than a small rumour over the boy from Kobe.

Get all 3 in and it would be the best January window in my lifetime, even with Kyogo leaving. I'd like a second winger in but I don't think we'd get that this window.

Would leave us likely needing a CM, CDM, another LB, a CB and another winger in the Summer window, don't expect a CDM sadly but the rest I think we'd get. I expect Taylor and Hatate to leave this summer and I think we'll struggle to hold onto Kuhn for another season, but fingers crossed. We can't afford to sell CCV or Johnston no matter what's been offered.

Feels like the Tierney deal is dragging on a bit.

Surely have Jota announced by tomorrow evening. Need to start getting some players in.

Still think we will have 4 this window.

With the play off to come I'd be striving to get Tierney in now rather than the summer.

If he's gonna get injured too I'd rather it was on our terms at this point!

Sounds like being a busy week with both incomings (hopefully) and outgoings.

I am hoping Tierney is an incoming it would be a big boost to get him back now. See if you don’t I know the natural reaction is you keep Valle but if he has his head set on a move to Como that doesn’t really work.

Also, if Taylor doesn’t move or sign a new deal who knows where his head is at, one thing that will definitely be on his mind is don’t get injured.

Nawrocki should be sold if at all possible as he is so far down the pecking order. It’s a pity we couldn’t identify one of those guys that can play a few positions well. Like centre midfield., centre back or even right back as cover. It be handy for getting them enough game time whilst managing Euro squads and matchday squads.

I really think we need a capable and physical CDM this window, to have a realistic shot at progression in the Champions League.

It would also help with the remaining Hun games and also a possible meet up with them in the Scottish Cup too.
Think it would make all the difference between having a tense or a comfortable and successful end to the season.

Totally agree. For me at the start of this window that was IMHO the biggest need we had alongside sorting the left back situation and needing another winger.

Don't see a CDM or midfielder being signed this window.

It doesn't seem like a priority. Slightly strange as we had made a loan to buy bid for Diawara in the summer even when McCowan had been progressed etc. So I'd been thinking that Rodgers felt there is still room for another mid.

If Hatate goes in the summer I'd sign a creative CM and a powerful runner, as well as buying and loaning out Lennon Miller. Tbh I'd do the latter this window, but think he's injured atm.

Been so many rumours and conspiracy theories in this window. Worst debate yer was on KDS yesterday. Talking about the Danish centre forward coming. Some guy posted May be too high in wages here as Danish handball and football players receive a tax break to encourage them to stay. Started a big debate about the Danish tax system. Was effin brutal.

The more you hear Kyogo has been trying to force a move for months surely means we have been working on targets to bring in to replace him? Even if Rodgers wants Idah as the number 1 option which I highly doubt it still means we are a striker short in that position.

It’s a rare laugh this every window dragging the * out of every transfer just so we can get away with missing other key positions.

Granted i guess it’s not an easy to do transfers as going right we want you be here by tomorrow ect. But every single transfer we do takes a best weeks to sort

Wouldn't be surprised to see more concrete news on a striker break tonight now that Kyogo has been officially announced.

Celtic expected to approach Arsenal for Tierney
Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth and Anthony Joseph:

Celtic are expected to approach Arsenal to discuss the conditions of a possible loan deal for Kieran Tierney this month.

As Sky Sports News revealed earlier this month, Celtic are close to agreeing pre-contract terms with Tierney for a permanent move in the summer. But the Hoops would like to have left-back return earlier for the Champions League knockouts, if they can do a deal with Arsenal.

The 27-year-old has been making substitute appearances for Arsenal recently since returning to full fitness, but the club have not triggered the one-year extension on his contract.

Arsenal have a decision to make before the transfer deadline, with fellow left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid.

The emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly could allow for Tierney and Zinchenko to move in this window, with Ricardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber also able to cover that position.

If Celtic bring in Tierney this month, on-loan left back Alex Valle could return to Barcelona.

Sky Italy understands Como have an agreement with Barca to take Valle on loan, should Celtic agree to terminate his season-long deal.

Think with Kyogo out the door we might try get Evan Ferguson in on loan from Brighton. We’ve got a good relationship with them and I’m sure Rodgers wanted him before with Leicester? Not sure the club will be desperate to spend big on a striker this window and revisit it in the summer. A straight loan deal to the end of the season would work for all (as I don’t think we’d be able to afford him outright as Brighton apparently want £30 mil minimum)
