Kvistgarden plays up top or on the wing. Perfect solution.

I can understand this, but I just don’t see him doing that here mate. Some players just find a home and you could see when he was here they he absolutely loved it. The money he was offered wasn’t getting turned down by anyone, and I don’t blame or grudge him moving one bit, but I think he will just be desperate to get back playing football regularly.

C'mon get this moved back over. Brendan never talks about players until they sign, and he's just said he's hoping the deal is done within 24 hours. That means everything is agreed and he just needs to get here to put ink to paper.

Best since Sinclair / Dembele (or) Griffiths / Roberts I'd say? If we sign the Danish lad and he's as good as his goal record shows it could be just as good or better, which would be very exciting.

    Better than prime Jota-Kyogo-Abada?

Abada was a poor footballer, so I'd say so.

    Jota Maeda Kuhn

..is a lovely trio on paper but we should be aiming to sign someone like Kvistgaarden or Moussa. That will take us to another level.

    From Celtic's official website

In respect of arrivals, the Celtic manager is hopeful that Portuguese winger, Jota’s return to Paradise is also imminent.

The 25-year-old, who left Celtic in July 2023 to move to Saudi Arabia, has been with Rennes since August last year.

Regardless of what happens off the pitch, the Hoops will be fully focused on the 90 minutes tomorrow when they take on Dundee, looking for a victory which would extend their lead at the top of the Premiership table.

Where are you on the Jota situation in terms of bringing him back to Celtic?

Likewise, it's not finalised yet but a player who clearly would be an incredible addition to our squad given what he's done here before.

Hopefully, we can confirm that in the next 24 hours

On Jota, he's been a hero at Celtic before. How confident are you that he can have the same impact?

Yeah, I'm very confident. I think that there's a possibility of him being able to come.

He was one player that when I was coming back the first time, I was really, really looking forward to working with. I'd seen him play for Celtic, of course, and seen the impact that he made in terms of creating goals, scoring goals and that connection with the supporters. So, I was really, really looking forward to him and working with him. Then, virtually before I'd arrived, it was really agreed that he was gone. So, yeah, that was disappointing.

I’ve spoken to him at length. The challenge always is, and I know through first-hand experience, is that when you've created a legacy, lots of people will tell you to come back and maybe that legacy can be dented. But my feelings to him and advice to him was, to come back and grow that legacy to be even greater.

If you're not happy in your work where you are or how it's going for you, you know that this is a place where you will improve, you will develop. And he's at a different moment in his life now as well, even though he's been away only a few years.

So, yeah, I think that he'll come back with a real motivation. He's got quality, but still got things he can improve, to develop. But he's still young and if the deal comes through. Then, I'll be really excited to work with him.

Deal looks done and if it wasn't for this storm he'd already be in the brazen.

Hopefully get him here in time to get him on park at half time 2 mo

I think people are forgetting how good Jota, Kyogo and Abada were for us.

    Free flowing football.

Unfortunately in terms of the rest of this season there is a very good chance your right there. It might very well be not until next season we really see Jota back to his best . Could be a situation like we had with Kuhn last January fitness and match sharpness wise.
