To me I'm even more excited than I was before he left.

Massive thanks to Kyogo for everything. Been a sensational player for us, but the time is right. Also worth noting that I think it says so much about his attitude that he expressed a desire to leave some months ago and you wouldn't have noticed on the pitch.

I think we need a refresh. It would be great to have him with Jota but get the feeling it's one or the other. We are picking the one who wants to be here

 

I don't think you are wrong. Up top definitely needed something different, a new face and freshness will take us up a level i reckon..

When is the right time? When he's 32, his shoulders packed in, he's missing more sitters and lost even more pace?

No even factoring in the fact it's now been confirmed what we already knew and that he's been angling for a move for a while. Keeping an aging, declining player who wants out isn't a strategy the board will take a d quite rightly so..

What I found interesting is Rodgers was clear to say wasn't out of the blue so we have time. None of this too late to do anything nonsense like Dembele a few years back.
