If Ajax were prepared to throw in Owen Wijndal as part of the deal for Raol Moro but have now pulled out of it surely we should be all over that....Decent LB from what iv seen and with Taylor not signing a contract valle possibly leaving and we can't fully rely on Tierneys fitness if he does sign. Should test ajax with a wee bid for him or a loan to buy

 

Messed us around last summer, so I’d be very surprised if we entertained the idea of signing Wijndal at all.

 

Is there too many eyes already looking at
Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk.

Not exactly the age profile we'd want as an immediate starter as they are only 17, but seems to be proving themselves quite adept in Belgian league

 

Any strikers available ?

 

Is that Ilias Chair at QPR worth a look...he seems to he playing off the left this season, or is he a bampot worth avoiding

 

I see there is talk of Feyenoord paying £1.2m to get Jakub Molder this month away from Brighton. Despite his problems with injuries a couple of years ago he would be a very good player for us.

Nice range of passing, good at getting the ball on the half turn and quick feet for a big guy, also got a good shot on him. Still only mid 20’s, there’s shades of Tom Rogic about him.

 

Two wingers worth a look both playing in top flight of Portugal.

Gabriel Silva Viera, 22 year old winger comfortable playing off either wing. Right footed has 4 goals and 3 assists in 17 which doesn’t scream great but he does have pretty strong underlying numbers to his game, good tackle and duel success rate as well as possession regains and interceptions from a defensive point of view, very good for chances created, crossing accuracy, dribbling success is high.

From the video on him he looks quick, tricky and very direct. Plays for Santa Clara who are having a very good season having just come back up from the second league and are currently 5th. His deal is also up in the summer.

In a more attacking team like ours you could see his goals and assists being higher.



The other is a similar story to Kuhn, Felix Correia, soon to be 24 playing for Gil Vicente. He has 5 goals and 4 assists in 18 games this season. He came through Sportings academy before Man City paid £4m for him as a teenager, he was then sold to Juve for over £10m but never broke through eventually moving back to Portugal in the summer.

A very Jota-esq player, good on the ball dribbler, with a very creative style, nice range of passing, likes to get on the ball a lot and create or score goals.

He moved for €1.5m in the summer so would cost a little bit because he has plenty of time on his contract but a move to a CL club and chance to really kick on in his career you would imagine would appeal. He looks a really good player and like Silva makes a decent defensive contribution for an attacking player.

 

If we sell Kyogo, we should go for Ayase Ueda, Feyenoord's backup striker.

 

Sit down and leave it to the others… in all seriousness, from what I’ve seen he’s decent, but I worry that there’s something there that I’m missing because I thought he would have progressed to a higher level.

When Ange was here we were linked to him almost every window whilst he was still in Japan. He went to France I am sure and didn’t get much chance on loan before going back to Japan, then Denmark.

I am sure we were linked both pre and post his move to France.

Is there any actual proper talk about big Ferguson at Brighton, if he's fell of a cliff formwise would there be any chance?

 

Like to see Endo in from Liverpool and push Callum more forward the options in midfield would be enormous and he would add some steel we are lacking
