    Aye but if we get say Jota and then sign Kvistgaarden that'd sort it.

    I'd say we need 2x wingers tbh. Palma and Yang ain't good enough.

    My ideal window now would be

    Kvistgaarden
    Barry
    Tierney
    Jota

    That elevates out attack and left side in particular. Then in the summer strengthen the midfield and get another CB.

    Will be sad to see him leave but on the other hand we as a club need to be ruthless with our player trading model. At 30 getting 10 mill then reinvesting that in a younger player such as Kvistgardeen really excites me as it would show we are ambitious.

    Thing is its easily doable given how much money we have. But I don't think 2 wingers come in. Will see.

    I just feel that with Kyogo going, we will be losing goals so I'd want another player in on top of his replacement to help

    But what kind of replacement, that's what I worry about. Is it going to be like replacing JJ with AJ or more like "replacing" Jota with Palma?

    Mostly pretty good TBH! Even the January one that looked bad at the time now looks good in retrospect.
    The glaring exception is the summer of 2023, which might just be the worst window I've ever seen since McCann rescued us.

    Don't think we'll be signing any striker with four still on the books (Maeda, Idah, Kenny, Cummings)

    I can see a winger, maybe two, Jota and someone else, with Brendan then utilizing Maeda as the main striker, I think this is something Brendan has been wanting to play out and Kyogo leaving now allows that

    Brendan on Maeda as a striker

    “What was really nice to see last weekend was that Daizen showed that he can play as a striker.

    “I know there's probably a cry for more but I see these guys every day. I see Daizen in the past and he has played for me as a striker.

    “With the two guys that we have I'm fairly comfortable if we need a third one that I can put him there and he can do the job and he will score goals.
