Big guy was immense. Took a pounding after Dundee but has responded in style.

The block he got onto the second shot which led to the double save was potentially crucial in allowing Schmeichael to save it, if he doesn't get that block it's probably hitting the back of the net

Not just that, but the header Itten had actually came off the big man's head, again, another potential goal stopped, he was brilliant

The biggest compliment I could pay him for last night would have been if scouts came to look at CCV as a centre back they probably left talking about Trusty.

Back to his best, only thing he needs to work on is heading ball to a teammate, quite a few times when had time he just cleared it back to them. Nitpicking right enough.

He was actually really good last night with them for once, Trusty kept just firing it up in the air.

That Dundee shitshow was a one off-for whatever reason. Was good last night, needs to keep the focus and he will be fine.

Credit to Rodgers, he called him out in public but kept him in the team.. and the big man has responded..

    Good man management.

I'd imagine it's not the easiest thing to do when things are moving at the pace they do at the top level.

110% I get that and it's easy for me to sit here and criticize but it's maybe something that the coaching team can work with him on. Could relieve a fair bit of pressure at times. Not asking them to bring the ball down on top of their head and roll it out to a full back but at least head it in the direction of one of our players to either take the ball down or compete for the second ball
