Fair play to Reo, he showed up tonight when we needed him. A sublime performance and that ball for the goal was top drawer. Would like to see some real consistency from him now, as he was stunning tonight.

I’d agree, he was MOTM. He poured his heart and soul into it, I thought his blood and thunder challenge at left back at the death was more important than his pass for Idah tbh. That’s what we need from him 2 times a week.

I was actually fuming with him at times in the second half, thought his legs had gone and though we needed a change, what the * do I know.

Another good performance. The ball for the winner is an unbelievable pass. Had a rough time of it from the support, some he has warranted, but some has been sensationalised, like the “1 good game in 10” pish.

I know he doesn't seem to always be trying his best but passes like for our late goal tonight are priceless, man has vision AND ability to split defenses right open

I felt the same. I had just posted he would cost us the game because he was so tired and then he put through the winning pass.

I’m a big fan of his but he needs to show more athleticism for Europe. He’s feels like a luxury player right now. I’m hoping it’s just the schedule and when it quietens down a bit he will have more running power.

I was the same. A couple of minutes before the goal, someone (Valle I think) played a pass into Hatate and he lost his balance and lost possession (just generally looked knackered). I was screaming for McCowan to replace him.

    Sorry Reo :56:

Reckon he is phenomenal in training, as much as I love him there's no denying he is as inconsistent as they come. But for Rodgers to persist with him 90 minutes every game he must know this guy has the quality to win us the game.

Well, there it is. What a * pass that was.

Yup, and he had a lovely strike from outside the box that whistled just over too that I immediately remember... Like a lot of our players the skill is so clearly there, but it's like they're all unable to get it in gear...

As devil's advocate on this, the entire team put in a massive effort for the whole game, and we're still playing a game every 3-4 days, without the usual January break... That they're all not on hands and knees at 70 minute mark these days is incredible!

Yeah it's that old cliché, if he played like that every week he probably wouldn't be at Celtic!

I'm still raving about his part in that goal. It's not just the worldie of a pass, it's also the little shimmy to make the space and the exact timing of the pass. Engels might be that guy in the future; but here and now, Hatate's the only player we have who is capable of that kind of magic. I can only describe that as Luboesque.

Reminded me why he used to be my favourite player under Ange.
