They could easily have had a few reds with the persistent fouling, booked kuhn, correctly, but never booked the 3 players who did the same. Their players were at it whole game and ref was at it with them. Terrible game for the ref.

 

That's what retirement gives us m8 lol

 

One of the worst most pathetic referee and VAR displays I’ve seen, they’d fit right in with the lodge here and the YB with shitebag tactics all game diving like *, time wasting and fouling after the ball is gone.

Never seen Kyogo and Reo so * off in a game, they were getting stuck right into the *.

 

Yeah bit of a riddy from YB time wasting at 0-0 with no points on the board.

 

Had a * horrible dream the goal was given as offside. It was different from last night, the ball was played to someone who was standing right at the line with his arms folded clearly offside and he played it back. Then it kept showing replays of the ref going back and forward to the side. VAR absolutely * with my nightmares now.

 

I said last night would be a roller coaster and, by *, it was. We all saw the best and worst of our team again - the best part being our fast, attacking, high pressure stlye football for the first 45 mins and the worst being our continued missed chances and our drop in energy and movement in the 2nd half. We still have a problem at LB, and we still need some height and physicality in the team as, once again, we were dwarfed by the opposition. We definitely need a few new faces in the door if we realistically want to get to the next step.

 

One of those games that usually would end up 6-0 to us or we give away a stupid goal and throw it all away.

Lady lucky finally showed up for us last night, take it any way we can get it but that was a nail biter

 

Hahaha i said to the guys next to me it was like a league game, ref was gonna pull off his mask like a Scooby Doo villain and I'd would be Beaton,Walsh or Robertson.

Even they wouldn’t of been as bold as half their decisions.

 

Good achievement getting through the league stage given our European results in recent years. I thought we played really well for 50-55 mins last night but then just fell away. I thought we tired personally. Kept going and got the result though and that's what counts.

 

Nice touch from young boys fan to the wee boy last night.

Hope they win their league.

 

The tiredness thing was always a concern for me. The number of games we have played this past couple of months is absolutely insane. To be in the position we are in the league, won a cup and be in the top 24 in Europe is a phenomenal achievement!!!! I mean utterly phenomenal. Brendan Rodgers and his staff deserve some amount of credit for this.

 

If only I put tenner on
