    Agree to disagree.

I thjnk it's evident he probably wants away and we've declined bids for him last summer too. We don't know if he's pushing for this either.

Willing to trust Rodgers and the club with this.

People said the same when dembele left we'd need to spend £££ in order to replace but these things go in circles. Confident we could find someone, not identical no, but he will be replaced and we will keep moving. That's football.

We will not get a better striker thank kyogo for a long time. 10 million is * all, especially considering were into knockout football for the first time in over a decade. I'm sure there could be some arrangement to let him leave in the summer if he really wants to go.

It's definitely the right time for the club in terms of getting the best fee, considering he's now 30 and still decent property..

Been a great signing if he does go. I've no doubt we'll have a backup sorted in any case..

Does he? How do we know that?

I'd be reluctant to punt him in Jan.

I think it's been rumoured he's wanted to leave for a while.

Well I'm pretty sure we did spend £9M on Edouard right before Dembele left if my memory serves me. So not sure he's a great example. Plus Edouard had already been here and had a pre season. So not really comparable to punting someone in January ahead of the business end of the season. Can you explain any benefit to me for selling Kyogo now or keeping him till the summer and selling him for, let's say, £7M? You're making it sound like jumping into a new team and being as effective as Kyogo as an easy thing to do. Look how long it took Kuhn to get up and running. The potential risk far outweighs any gain for me here, it's madness pure and simple and not one point you've made makes a semblance of sense to me.

Because you don't sign up that agency in the summer if you're not looking to move. They are one of the most aggressive in getting clients moves

Think it's from when he changed his agency mate. That's when the rumours started/bids came in last time I'm sure..

Hearing McGregor's comments have convinced me he's away..

Will miss my sweet prince if he moves. Tbh his whole demeanor has changed recently if he does go I hope he smashes it in France. Super servant.

Of course Idah won't be on his own. We brought Johnny Kenny back after all...

Benefit for me is bringing in a replacement to settle into the side ahead of next season and qualifiers to come.

Again I'll reiterate we also don't know if he is pushing for this or not. So I'd turn it round to you, do we keep a player who's potentially getting * off having had bids rejected for him in the past?

Personally I wouldn't. His form this season hasn't exactly been blistering either. He could be even worse next few months and we get even less money etc.

A player doesn't change agents for no reason.

I can't explain it more than I've already said. I thjnk now is the right time provided we get a replacement in this window. You don't agree and that's fine, I can see why!

You’re going on the assumption that a suitable replacement who the manager wants would be available early on in the summer window and settle quickly to hit the ground running for the CL qualifiers. That in itself is a big ask.

If, for example, we kept Kyogo until the summer (against his wishes) and, in doing so, missed out on Kvistgaarden who went elsewhere and scored goals, we’d have fans going mental that we weren’t more proactive. Especially when the club know Kyogo wants a move.

As I said before, there’s no great time to lose a goal scorer, but being so far ahead in the league undeniably gives us a cushion. If that means we win the league by ten points instead of twenty, but have a better chance of CL qualification next season then I’d take it every day.

I wonder how many other teams that are through to the knock out stages in Europe would let their first choice striker leave in January? Says a lot about our ambition going forward here, as Kyogo’s importance to this team goes beyond goals and is evident in the fact he’s been first on the team sheet in every big game for the past four years.

Would be * for us to turn the atmosphere sour if we force him to stay when he wants to leave, let him go with good memories of the club.
